Have some of you guys actually ever really played this game, or at a really high level??? The reason Wilson was po'd was bc Walman saw the hit coming and came unbalanced Wayyy tooo easily, after barely being grazed by the Caps defender, #25. Anyone who has played real hockey can clearly see this on the First replay. For all of Wilson's indiscretions in the past, he would have def not done this in a 1 goal game, unless that is… that maybe he and I are right, bc he happened to have the Best view, and vantage point in the entire arena.
As a wings fan and a fan of Wilson I don't even know why he did that. To draw a penalty? Looking to fight? But what made him mad?? Something from Walmans time in st Louis??? Anyone?

The hip check from Mcilrath dropped the player initially and tripped wilson at the same time, Wilson got up and followed him around and kept his gloves on whilst punching him a stone wall 2 minute penalty.
