and thompson makes half that amount. outrageous as a canucks fan. EVERYONE SHOULD BE OVERPAID FIRE EVERYONE AND LET IT BE KNOWN IN THE MEDIA
In all seriousness, who will be the next tire fire team. I am tired of it being my Vancouver Canucks:(
Territory* singular. NWT is plural.
Sabres signing their #1 and #2 centers to long term deals for the same amount combined as Matthews next contract.
Wait those type of numbers U can get paid that.
This is great. Cozens has quietly been scoring at almost a PPG. And he’s still very very young – he will certainly improve
If Dahlin plays great next year he is also up for renewing (6mill atm) I could see him then getting 8-9mill
I'm maybe happier than I should be that this is being talked about all around the NHL in such a positive light, then again when ya been through what we been, any "not bad" news is good news lol
They're all really happy here; hockey players in particular have always loved the area. Mike Peca is a big part of player development in Rochester too, there have been some articles about the values and culture and pride in the blue & gold he's teaching the kids
I can see him and Thompson swapping places as 1 & 2 centers
This means that this upcoming offseason, we already have the high priority done. The other RFA/UFA's coming up are nowhere near as critical.
Kevyn Adams masterclass
Love the signing, hope they can lock up Dahlin and Power. Both are gems
have your top two centers for 7 years at 14.2 combined lol
Sabres young core might realize if they take a little less they can pay all the young talent and have money left over to get a few veterans to put them at elite level. They can look at Bruins to see how that works.
I love the signings!! 🦬⚔️💪
GMKA is an infinite leader. GMKA is setting the Sabres up for long-term success. What a friggin rebuild under GMKA. Draft selections , trades , cap management, draft capital , signings, and so on…..Total stud
too much imo.
5.5 x 5 would've been better.
I am so pumped as a Sabres fan! The future is bright!
If you told me top 2 c’s would be 14 mil combined I would thought there’s no way. Adams pulling sweet deals.
pretty pysched on this. and after seeing what Matt Boldy signed for I figured it would be about the same. Regardless Cozens is the type of player people in Buffalo love. 👍
I agreed with everything you said. I was shocked what Thompson got. Now Dylan Cozens. Get them done early get them done cheaper. They kind of took the Buffalo Bills approach
My hometown boy !!!
He's playing with 2 rookies on the wings…
Now Sabres need to get timo Mier and lock him up on a smart contract
