  1. Legendary hit, but I could definitely see this being a 5 minute major and suspension in the regular season.

  2. aiming for the head, you know that's not right … even if the commentators are getting excited, it's illegal – looked like a scene from slapshot with the hanson brothers … šŸ™‚
he's just lucky the sharks' player didn't get hurt, taken out on a stretcher … or else he'd be hearing from the league. he'd be suspended for that illegal hit. Sneaky player.

  3. If dillon doesn't bounce up from the hit right away, this is a suspy, no doubt. Injury to the player is almost the only thing the nhl looks at now for making a hearing.

  4. Damn man. As a Habs fan I would've really liked to see Kassian play for us. Glad he's doing great as an Oiler. Go get'em EDM.

  5. 3 things that say this was a dirty hit, feet left the ice, hit to the head and as soon as kassian got up he skated to the bench praying he didn't get jumped by someone cause he knew what he just did. However after saying that he didn't have to leave his feet at all and he didn't have to hit him to the head, it could have been a very nice clean hit to the body but it didn't go down that way unfortunately, at the end of the day no ones injured, carry on.

  6. This is what hockey should be like. Nice hard hits. You don't want them to be on the head but it's just what makes hockey stand out more than most sports.

  7. Interesting how a guy Vancouver and almost everyone else didn't want, now looked like a super charged Messier in game 2, and is100x the fighter Messier ever was. He is a great lesson for all the goddam snowflakes who parroted gretzky's idiocy of "We have to get fighting out of our game". Prediction: Oilers win series vs Sharks in 6games, and Kassian gets a huge raise.

  8. I literally "cringed" when I seen Dillon go down. Ouch!! Kassian, you're such an a-hole. I dislike NHL players who play dirty and have lack of sportsmanship. I completely understand it's HOCKEY, but c'mon. You could have seriously injured Dillon. I'm still pretty upset as a fan of Logan Couture and what you did towards him in Game 2. I hope karma bites you when you least expect it. I'm so ready for Game 4 tonight. GO SHARKS!!! GO DILLON!!!

  9. Not a fan of Dillon at all. He's kind of a cheap fighter, a spot picker, and seems to fight guys who aren't that great of fighters. I respect that he sticks up for his team but I just feel some of the stuff he does is not right.

  10. Kassian targets the guys head and his skates leave the ice.. that's ok.. but Matthew katchuk hits him shoulder to shoulder in 2019 while he has the puck and everyone comes unglued about how dirty the hit is??? Wow.. really? Ray Ferraro whines about it.. the entire Edmonton teams cries about it, especially James Neal.. they claim he took 12 strides and hit him in his shoulder, which could have been the head (just make up whatever you want, whatever conspiracy theory that did not happen that could have), then when kassian decides to stop playing hockey (that is a broad statement cause the guy is actually only a wanna be hockey player) and kassian decides to fight (again cause playing actual hockey is not something this guy knows anything about) Matthew and he gets an extra penalty and a 2 game suspension.. but clearly this was not targeting, a head shot and he did not leap off ther ice..
Wow.. what a double standard ask those cry babies have when it comes to poor, poor, zach kassian… what did the crybaby teammate Neal also make up.. oh yeah, if that check is on anyone else in the league, they are injured.. and draistl said he would probably get off the ice of he's paired with Matthew in the all star game.. what premadonna's they have in Edmonton..

  11. The difference between this and Tkatruck 1) was this was 100% a headshot 2) Dillon still took it like a big boy and did not cost his team the game
