Seeler lost his interest when Gilbert started to get going and had a better grip than him.
Rare fight between participants who both played NCAA hockey. Gilbert was a standout at Notre Dame, while Seeler played two years at Omaha and one at Minnesota before turning pro.

This is assault and completely messed up. This isn't hockey and the refs should be fired.
Love fighting in hockey but not in response to clean hits. I get in the moment it might be hard to tell if it was clean or not but this wasn't one of those

Fighting with helmets and visors is just silly….I know its the rules now but really 9 out of 10 punches thrown land on the helmet.
