Who do you think wins this deal?
Nice one more offense
Caps suck so bad this year they should just trade everyone lol.
B’s are all in, love the trade, Sweeneys been crushing it since the hall trade
Orlov isn’t a rental. The Bs will lose two top centers if they win it all. Wouldn’t you go out on top? That will give them cap space to sign Orlov.
Caps going for the tank. Your boy Kane on the Rangers stop the Bruin train.
Just what Toronto needed. Top 4 D and rugged winger. But no, they pick up another center. Boston looks very strong now.
Boston ….if Toronto can do it we can too…call Minnesota….
I have to give Sweeney credit, he did an excellent job. Acquired 2 players that can step in and contribute, he was able to trade Craig Smith and his $3+ million salary, and had both Washington (50%) and Minnesota (25%) each eat salary for each player which resulted in the Bruins actually freeing up $600k in cap space. He was able to do this without having to disrupt the current roster or give up any of the limited prospects the B's have in their system.
Orlov is a nasty defensemen and really is a good pickup
I think Bruins need Meier or another top forward to he honest.
bRuins win the trade, because they're ready to win the cup at this point. A Massachusetts team is fed with good players, something we've already seen 16 years ago in another top league
I would say Boston because their a strong team
As a life-long fan of the Bruins (over 3 decades), I like this trade. I HATED Hathaway, but I'm thrilled he's a Bruin. I really hope Sweenius can retain one, if not both, of these guys for future seasons.
Why are you not mentioning the Minnesota Wild part of this trade?
😮
Love this trade for both teams
Solid trade
Great breakdown of the trade! I have a spirts Podcast called the sports Blitz we talk about everything Boston Sports. First time I've seen your Pod really good man.
Love these moves by Bruins
Цепь ошибочных трейдов продолжается. Победы начнутся, когда владельцы команды поймут, что проблема в главном тренере, а не игроках.
Bruins can’t stop Canes. Canes can’t stop Rangers.
So the Leafs continue to ignore its defense woes and its goalie needs while Taveras is now being pencilled in as its shutdown center (totally laughable) … meanwhile the Bruins focus on tightening up it lineup for a long playoff run.
Wtf. Caps want the bruins to win the cup
A defenceman known for his crushing hits will find a spot in Boston still Carolina's gonna feed them a juicy L like they did last season
I love the toughness the Bruins get. Washington get draft picks but I still think they got fleeced.
Bruins
Has to be said, the Leafs and Lightning are the co-losers of this deal, for now
You fail to even mention the 3rd team in the deal or any of the salary cap retention, not a good vid
In short term, definitively Bruins, in long term? Capitals. Lets not forget that also Bruins going to need draft picks for first and second round. Because David Krejci mostl likely playing his last season not only in NHL but also in whole career, same goes for Bergeron. Whole organization going to be rebuilded and if they failed to reach Stanley Cup this season, its going to be to big price. Also there is no certainty that they will re-sign Orlov, since Bruins still did not re-signed Pastrnak.
As far as Sweeney goes; apparently the blind squirrel can find a nut eventually.
Hey Now! The Bruins are a force! A slugfest vs the Keaken. 6-5 road win in a back and forth battle throughout! Swayman letting in 5 goals was A okay as he made some incredible saves to keep the B’s in a position to pull out the win!!! Pasta keeps rolling
I really like this trade for Boston with regards to helping out this year. Hathaway has always played well against Boston, he plays hard and has enough skill to fit in. Orlov is also just what they need.
