That change in OT was terrible. But it was the guy who deserves the most slack so…on to the next.

What is the record for most overtime losses in a season?

I wasn’t able to watch the game but saw the highlights (thanks for posting the condensed recap by the way). Looked like Vladar played pretty well? The one goal that went far blocker side looked like he was too deep in the net but apart from that it looked like he made several excellent saves.
The big one for me though…what the hell was with the goalie interference call on Duehr?? He was literally pushed into the goalie. And then Vladar gives up a goal when their player falls on him and it didn’t look like there was any contact. Holy beans.

I have officially flipped from believing they’ll still make the playoffs to being surprised if they do. Standings are looking a bit iffy right now.

Last night is what happens when you coach and play to not lose rather than coach and play to win.

I thought that Treliving had pulled off a miracle during the offseason by assembling another contender. These days, I view him more as Dr. Frankenstein who robbed a graveyard and assembled something that looked like an NHL team but was really just a collection of limbs he managed to cobble together and run some electricity through.
Looking at the problems this team has, and what is available on the trade market, I don’t see an easy fix. I think we are going to have to ride this out and take a serious look at things in the offseason.
What we have is not a playoff team, increasingly doesn’t look like a wildcard team and there are too many problems to fix during the season.

How were they so damn bad in the 3rd? Right from the opening face off it was like they had zero interest in trying to do anything.
Overtime was painful.

Anyone have a number for how many leads we’ve blown this season?
