Gross, a moral victory. At least we got a point.
What a bummer to end it that way. Boldy got caught completely flat footed.

Got a point at least. They looked pretty good for the most part against a very tough Toronto team.
I’m not hitting the panic button, but Boldy continues to be just a no factor or a liability. He has so much upside but my eyelid just twitches at that contract right now.
That said, a point against the queefs on a back to back is good. Abysmal OT that deserves a bag skate but decent 3 periods. This team CANNOT score

We literally never beat the leafs. We’re after space on their fucking schedule every year
it’s a point earned so I take that, it was a really solid game despite a banged up defense. I like the tight discipline of the last couple games, I think we’re going in the right direction, you can’t win them all and tonight for me it’s definitely one point earned rather than one point lost. Now let’s not shit our pants in the next game and make quick work of the Blue Jackets.

Freddy has got to be way stronger on his stick there.
Why didn’t we just bridge Boldy. At worst we would have to pay more (maybe $8m) later when we have a ton of cap space. Now we’re for sure gonna lose a guy or two we could have kept. Should have been like $4.5m-5m x 2.

It looks like Boldy is trying to be our secondary scoring line all on his own. Gotta love the effort but the turnovers not so much. I thought Hartman and Greenway were both good tonight and have been for a few games. Don’t sell low Billy!

Just rewatched the whole play. JT Miller type effort by Goose. He took one whole stride and continuously backed away from challenges leaving two forwards to do his main job. Buy his contract out this summer. Don’t care about the cap.
I really fucking hate that the officials put their whistles away in overtime. Spurgeon deserves better.
