  1. The east is absurd at the moment. Toronto, Boston, and New York are all beefing up for a one year run, Tampa is still gunning to become a dynasty, and I still haven't mentioned the two teams ABOVE the Rangers in the standings.

And the Aves will probably take home the cup for some reason.

  2. Another player cry’s and stomps his feet to go to the rangers for scraps, just like fox. That team should get no sympathy from nhl fans, they get whatever they want.

  3. Canucks just had to trade their captain because of having no cap space… how the hell can they justify taking on partial salary for a player who isn't even on the team

  4. If I was Chicago I would want Lafreniere,Kravtsov and a first for 2023 top 12 protected. The price will have to be high

  5. The 2023 trade deadline became irrelevant yesterday because of what the Boston Bruins added. Bettman might as well give them the cup already! The bruins statistically already had the league's 1st and 3rd best goalies. I am NOT a Bruins fan. I cannot see how they will not win the Stanley Cup!

  6. If they're looking for a team to retain 25%, just call Guerin. He already made two trades to retain salary for picks with ROR and Orlov.

  7. Another cautionary tale of why no movement clauses can really hinder teams. Either they move him to the rangers for pennies on the dollar or keep him and in turn probably get a higher draft pick that they don’t want.

  8. artur silvos was drafted in the 6th round and he is one of only 17 goaltenders since the cap era started to win multiple games in the nhl before the age of 22 so gimme that 5th or 6th rounder.

  9. Big bad super teams usually never work in the nhl. You need all players meshing at the same time for it to work and that almost never happens. I think its why the lightning are who they are. They have a few stars, might’ve added another superstar in Brandon hagel for dirt cheap, and build good pieces throughout the rest of the lineup. It just feels like the team full of stars, like most oither sports leagues also, never works for the better.

  10. Stan Bowmen was a idiot. If I were the Hawks I would say F you Rangers. Just keep Kane. I would take Rangers 2nd round. But they would have to pony up there 2nd and third best prospects.

  11. Trade related reasons is roster management reasons. Anything you do with players is roster management

  12. Really hope they pull the trigger on Kane's deal in the next 24 hours. Getting tired of insiders dropping nothingburger updates. Would be happy if Vancouver helps facilitate a deal and gets a draft pick out of it.

  13. LGR in Dury we trust nobody gave Col last year of trying to build a super team nobody should give the Rangers any grief for doing it either. Kane had full control obviously it helps the Rangers a lot if that is the only team is willing to waive his No trade. Sucks for Chi town great for us. But if Igor doesn’t start looking like old Igor again and very soon it won’t matter in the least. So let’s buckle down and focus because the rest of these games are playoffs exhibition games that don’t really count until the playoffs start.

  14. This will finally be the year where the Canucks will get to pick number 1 after 52 years of bad luck. We definitely deserve some good luck after waiting half a century.
