In response to the Crosschecking majors – you know what the deciding factor was? There was a Red Wing wearing the jersey in all three of them. I'm convinced someone in the NHL upper offices just hates the Red Wings. Holmstrom's reputation calls come to mind. Probably not, but I definitely do think there's something to the 'poverty tax'

I know Neal mentioned "Regulation Wins", but on the NHL's website, they state that the #1 tiebreaker is Points %, and then it moves to Regulation Wins, so the Wings being ahead of Florida was not incorrect, or a pity move. Before Florida's loss to Buffalo today, they had a .533 Points %, whereas the Red Wings had a .561 Points % after the win over NYR.
