If you watch closely its a stab with sharp edge of skate blade which causes a sharp pain and thats why it looks like trip but its just that quick sharp pain that makes his leg pull back and he falls. Marchand will do anything sneaky when he is pissed. Can't be allowed to do that those blades can really do some damage.
