Why would Kyrie go to the Lakers when AD is hurt all the time, and Lebron is close to retirement? Luka is young, we can offer more money and years, and he's known nico and kidd for years and is close to his family?? If you are a fan of this team, why would you believe this would happen?
As a lifelong Local Mavs Fan I hope kyrie stays because I think him and Luka could be special together, but if not, I think he is going to go team up with KD again, and if he does it's going to take them doing a sign and trade with us since they are already over the cap before Kyrie. So they are going to have to send Ayton to us in return. Plus we need to milk whatever other assets/Drsft Capital they have left out of them that we can. If they want Kyrie that bad it's going to cost them. That gives us a nice young Piece to pair with Luka to build our future around. You put Ayton in the right system and he is going to be a beast. He was Drafted by the wrong team and system that doesn't get him touches. He will Feast next to Luka in that pick n roll and pick and pop. He has a nice shot with good touch just doesn't get a lot of touches on the Suns. He is a Monster just got to put him on the right system. Yes without a doubt we need to go get Ibaka to help solidify our bigs and provide some much needed defensive boost with the occasional offensive punch as well to help us close all these close games out we have dropped and the veteran Leadership he can provide us.

Luka is to dominat at the PG position so i think Kyrie will go, Kyrie can play PG at PHX and Booker/Durant
on each side will be the most dangerous superstar team.

I was at the game last night and I’ve been following them all season and been to multiple home games. Justin holiday was a great pickup. Green is showing promise and Powell isn’t playing awful right now. Kyrie is an amazing basketball player and the offense will flow with him out there no matter what. Our issue isn’t even perimeter D it’s interior defense and hoping Luka can keep his head level in crucial moments and play with another all star. Real fans know he will fuck up the flow of a game by bitching to the refs and taking dumb shots

Still frustrates me Kidd doesn’t start CW @ the 4 or in this case the 5. He out scores and rebounds DP and RB combined. And we get smoked in points in the paint and rebounds so….🤷🏻♂️. With a guy like Kyrie, Mavs are doing what I think is the best thing they can do to bring him back. Just let him play basketball with no talk of contracts, and through playing with Luka let his want to be in Dallas grow organically. This is exactly why they hired someone like Nico to be GM, to be able to be the extra difference it takes for a player to choose the Mavs over anywhere else.

Resign kyrie and try to get miles turner who is one of the best defensive centers who can also knock down the 3 effectively. Luka, kyrie, bullock, kleber & turner. 2 offensive guys that can get to the basket anytime and create wide open shots with 3 defensive guys who can stretch the floor and knock down shots consistently. That would be a starting 5 i would love to see on the floor together.
