There are 2 teams in this league that makes me absolutely scared; Boston and Colorado, and I’d rather watch Flames play against Boston. Wtf is with that Avs team, why the fuck must they be so good and clutch. Ugh. Anyways, it’s Saturday and Flames’ record on Saturdays says it’s going to be a good game. Avs fan coming in peace – rooting for a good game tonight! I’m obviously hoping the Avs win, but I’d be happiest with an OT win so you get at least a point. I’d much rather see the Flames in the playoffs than the fucking Oilers.

Anyone else see the Avs destroy Winnipeg last night? Yikes. Of course the Jets goaltending situation is a mess and we have a Vezina caliber goalie in Markstrom. Hm? What’s that? It’s the exact opposite? Well that is devastating news

Avs are without Makar again tonight, but that didn’t stop us from losing at home to them last time. Totally expecting us to come hard out the gates and then fall behind and lose in OT again, expecting different results from the same formula time and time again is insanity.
Vladar and Markstrom have been left out to dry this season because our team defense has been in shambles outside of a couple players. Kadri and Huberdeau have been inconsistent at best this season, add that to regression of Mangiapane and absence of Kylington has me thinking this is just going to be one of “those” seasons.
It’s been really difficult to motivate myself to watch these games given how our season is going, I’ve found that my time is better spent on other things that are more productive than watching this team tread water. Time is the most valuable resource in our lives, and you can never get it back.

Interesting stat, if we beat them tonight in regulation our odds of making the playoffs go up by 6.3%(79.4% total), if we lose to them in regulation our odds go down by 7.1%(66% total). Granted not everyone likes moneypuck, personally I’ll see this is as my reason to either have hope or not for playoffs afterwards.
