I don't get what seider did in this though, perron tripped Tanev and then Bertuzzi slashed him after the fact, but besides a possible trip there's nothing that warrants a 10 minute misconduct for seider?

Come on NHL, call the rules properly. A different game and that's an automatic goal. The guy was ahead of the player who hauled him down and you don't think that impeding his momentum was the reason he didn't score on an EMPTY NET! THen he gets slashed by second player and that isn't considered the reason why he score on the EMPTY NET! I mean Come on MAN!

Then there`s the slash of Seider, doesn`t hit the puck, so that`s a penalty. Those 2 should result in an awarded goal, he was gone on the empty net. Good for DET that the players don`t give up a goal easy, but even as a Red Wings fan this must be an awarded goal. Bert afterwards is kinda unnecessary, idk, that`s a 10. Did they send out Tanev too? For getting angry after he was fouled 2x times, didn`t get the goal though he was gone, and then got a slash of Bert after the whistle?

Uhm…that is supposed to be an automatic goal…any infraction commited during a breakaway (even partial) on an empty net is SUPPOSED to be an automatic goal. And they gave Tanev a penalty for what? Getting slashed by Bertuzzi? It is of no exaggeration whatsoever to say that the NHL's officials (both on-ice and off-ice) get worse than the season before.
