  1. Poile went out to get Nino to pair him with Johannson. Ryan is out, Nino moves on – save cap in the process. The young guys are looking pretty good. Looking forward.

  2. NN’s had a solid career since that trade from NY but Cal Clutterbuck (3rd RD pick) is still an Islander after all this time.

Nino (5th overall 2010) has the same amount of points as Klingberg (122nd overall 2010) so uh yeah.

  3. Kane's going home to pack his bags and be ready to move to Manhattan. The reason for the delay is the later in the season he gets traded the less cap space he will eat up. From what I've heard the deal is done.

  4. He'll be a middle six guy, PP & PK duty. Nino is versatile and can fit in well with the Jets, he's in his prime right now, potentially averaging 35-40 points or more while being a bit more defensive minded than most Jets forwards over the next few seasons, not bad for a 2nd Rounder.

  5. Even before the recent slide, the Rangers had needs. Kane answers none of them. So far, this trade flurry looks like subtraction by addition for New York.

  6. Can’t see Kane going to New York.they are going to be eliminated first round with goaltending becoming an issue and Tarasenko doing nothing.

  7. Kanes been a lazy player the last 3 years. Uninterested in the game. Second level star that probably won’t reach 500 goals.

  8. The original Nino Trade is still haunting Minnesota can’t believe we traded him for rask 🤮 and now he’s moving to another divisional rival

  9. I like this trade for the Jets, but the team’s best case scenario is a first round exit.

  10. I'm seeing far too many people talking negatively about Kane. Hasn't he earned his right to make his choice? The stipulation was in his contract; he doesn't have to take whatever Chicago wants to do. If he is choosing a very small pool or deciding to sit out the rest of the season with their blessing, why not? Calling him a diva or saying that he's creating drama when he's been pretty much silent on everything is baffling to me. He helped win 3 Cups for the organization, and it seems more like Chicago and him are quietly on the same page. I think a little less bad-mouthing from fans is encouraged here. He's earned his stripes.

  11. the nino move helps the jets, but it doesn't really move the needle. if they wanted to win the cup, then they have to make a major move.

  12. Patrick Kane has basically given up on Chi for a couple years… why would Chi want to take a hit trading him to that one team he wants to stack?!?

  13. Jeez Nino is one of my favorite players but Wow he gets traded a lot. I think this is his fourth time getting dealt

  14. Glad to see Krav going somewhere where he’ll seemingly get a chance to play. As an NYR fan, it was really just a bummer to see how this all panned out and I think Krav really deserves to be put in a spot where he can succeed. From the NYR side of things, you would have liked to see a bigger return for a former top 10 first round pick, but it is what it is. Seemed like he was ready to pack it in and go back to Russia so getting anything for him is a win in my book
