  1. I'm still waiting for a team to go 82-0-0 and then 16-0 in the playoffs for the ultimate perfect season.

  2. 1972 Miami Dolphins 17-0 better than the Boston Bruins because unlike the Bruins the 1972 Miami Dolphins never lost a game in the 1972 NFL season.

  3. when you produce a story like this you deserve to be thought of as idiots .. if they do win the cup this year, maybe, maybe you could think that, maybe .. i'm glad I've not listened to any of you fools for decades now ..

  4. The fact that going into the season most everyone was uncertain of how it would go to say the least makes this as enjoyable as possible for a Bruins fan. Just gonna keep praying the boys remember to step it up in the playoffs.

  5. I wouldn’t go that far (yet) unless they win the cup, then everything they did this year was meaningless.

  6. It’s trending that way stats wise…as for the ? at the end “or be another historic defeat?” The Bs haven’t been a part of a historic defeat since winning the Presidents trophy w/ Robbie Ftorek 20 years ago. I can only imagine what Leaf fans have been feeling the past 13 😂

  7. Regular season and pllayoff wins won't mean a whole lot in the best team debate if they don't win the Cup.

  8. No. The Oilers won 4 cups in 5 years, the Islanders won 4 straight cups, Montreal won 5. This team has won nothing in almost a decade but they’ve had a great regular season, so all of a sudden, they’re the GOATs? Sure, they’ve been a consistently good team for a long time, but I think it’s premature to call them the best. Let them win a couple in a row before we get there. Do Gen Z’s even read?

  9. Too early to say. Regular season doesn’t mean anything. Seeing what a team can accomplish during Stanley Cup hockey matters more.

  10. I played out of Boston area in 60's and have watched the B:s for 60 yrs, this is the best team I've seen, there have been some great teams but I think the depth and balance of this year's team is best.

  11. The 84-85 Oilers, 76-77 Canadiens and the 97-98 Red Wings are all better even if they do win the cup

  12. I've seen the Bruins win the Presidents Trophy and then get eliminated in the playoffs. Doesn't mean a thing if you don't win the Cup.

  13. As a Bruins fan, this season is incredible but I wouldn’t call them the best unless they win the cup.
