  1. Yessssssssssss. How many times have I asked for Gurianov.

    Thank you Kent

  2. georgin_95

Selling Dadonov for literally anything is a win

  3. Seb_Nation

A young (RFA) over half a ppg (before this year) who’s buried in depth in Dallas, I take that any day of the week for Daddy!

  4. bosomarly

Absolute steal. Hughes turned Weber’s contract into Gurianov. Unreal asset management.

  5. Mbeaud001

Ok can l sat Hughes is the best GM since Serge Davard?

  6. shitwalkingsimp

    Big brain Hugues strikes agains.

I mean, everyone expect draft pick in return of Dadonov, and we get something better than a 2nd round pick.

  7. Rekrash95

Stars fan here enjoy Gurianov! Hopefully, the change of scenery will turn him into Scorianov again!

A good old russian swap. I think Gurianov is a nice project. The guy has an absolute laser and nice hands. He’s been absolutely snakebit this year.

IIRC, the [shot](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLVnGGzgTGc) that sent the stars to the SCF a few years back was clocked in at around 110MPH

    Work your magic MSL

  9. Garianov looks like a [reclamation project](https://imgur.com/VJk62My) at this point, hopefully habs can work their magic like they did with Dach.

Good luck to Dadonov with the Stars, a real pro.

  10. jadenspan

    He’s 6’3… I’m sensing a theme here

  11. Size and speed. Had some good flashes but has been inconsistent. Change of scenery could be good.

  12. superjsun

First a Dad for a Dad, and now a Nov for a Nov.

  13. GolfingGolfersGolf

Amazing trade. Low risk high reward

So Gurianov had 30 pts in 55 games in the COVID season, 31 in 73 last year. He also had 17 in 27 during the Stars playoff run. He’s a great reclamation project. If he can be our Nichushkin that’d be great but at least we got something for Dadonov.

  15. bluAstrid

    WHAT. THE. FUCK.

This is grand larceny, please someone give Hughes a medal or something!

  16. G_skins31

I don’t know if he’ll be apart of the future but his odds are probably better then a late round pick I thought we’d get

Dallas fan here. Quick Gurianov summary:

Gurianov has unbelievable speed and an absolute weapon of a one-timer. It’s unreal.

Unfortunately he also has virtually no hockey awareness, is a defensive black hole, and is rarely engaged on a consistent basis.

Prepare to be frustrated at the glimpses of talent that never quite fully materialize.

There’s a reason successive coaches have given up on him. All of the physical tools but it never quite clicks between the ears.

He’s apparently a super smart and very very nice guy though.

Edit – Gurianov wasn’t buried by depth, as I’ve seen a lot of people say. DeBoer slowly moved him down the lineup. Dallas desperately needs a second-line winger but Gurianov could never grab the spot.

  18. This is insane. What a great project. He’ll get prime minutes, and will probably slot with either Suzuki or Dach for now.

  19. --JULLZ--

Holy shit Lex Luthor you beautiful bald mf

  20. Cant wait for Dadonov tribute video next game

  21. Cabsmell

FIRE Bergevin! Wait a second….This is good!

  22. FakeCrash

Maybe a dumb question but what’s in it for the Stars? The smaller cap hit?

  23. Stars fan/Gurianov stan here. You guys got a beast! It’s been a mental thing for him for so long, and I can’t wait to see how St. Louis does with him. His speed is unmatched, and he has a crazy clean one timer that he likes to use from the right-dot and a wicked backhander that he gets off the rush.

I hope you guys treat Guri well!

  24. Sensitive_Ladder2235

Incredible. We actually managed to trade him.
