  1. i hope he was joking when he needed a ticket to get into a sharks game…..this man should have VIP, all-access status for life

  2. ( Kings Fan ) Marly was a hell of a player and my hatred for him as a kid was through the roof, hats off to him 👏🏼

  3. Dude was a legend with the Sharks and I have mad respect for the guy. It sucks he and the Joes couldn't get a cup.

  4. Patty Marleau is definitely without a doubt my favourite NHL player of all time, even though he's retired, he's the one who made me fall in love with the game. Thanks Patty, congrats 💙

  5. You came in to the league before I was born and the reason I play hockey! I have worn your number many times! You will be missed in San Jose Mr. Shark

  6. It's no longer a story that the world is experiencing a global economic downturn I'm so happy that I've been receiving $64,000 from my $15,000
    Investment every 8 days..

  7. One of Patrick Marleau's finest games as a San Jose Shark was Game 7 of the Sharks' Round 2 playoff series against the Detroit Red Wings.

Despite the Sharks being up 3-0, Pavel Datsyuk and the Red Wings came back to force Game 7 back at the Shark Tank.

Former San Jose Sharks teammate and Versus/NBC Sports Network analyst Jeremy Roenick called Marleau 'gutless' after having no points in that entire series after Game 5.

Marleau made Roenick give him kudos after scoring a clutch goal that turned out to be the game-winner in Game 7 on May 12, 2011.

  8. If I had to make a Mount Rushmore of my favorite athletes from the Big 4 American Professional Sports Leagues, Marleau would be my hockey player on it by a long shot. Marleau was what got me into hockey, Marleau put San Jose on the map in the hockey universe.

  9. Incredible career, what a heartfelt ceremony! Congratulations Patrick! It was a pleasure watching you play!

  10. Thanks for the amazing memories Marleau, I wish you had the chance to hoist the stanley cup. I also wish the Sharks would’ve at least won tonight’s game but nah they lose to the dead-last blackhawks

  11. What an awesome guy and player. Class. He's what every hockey player should strive to be. And I'm no Sharks fan. Great job with this ceremony.

  12. Patrick I’m a huge fan of you I watched play in ‘03 19 years ago that was one hell of a career for both Patrick and jumbo Joe

  13. He means so much to us in Sharks Territory. He's the Greatest Shark of all Time. I'm not afraid to admit I was bawling my eyes out at work during his ceremony.

    We love you Patty!!

  14. This made me tear up. He will be missed so much in the league. Amazing career

  15. Much respect to Marleau, but an hour delay to the game is absolutely ridiculous. Puck drop wasn't until 10:00 at night Chicago time. My buddy from Scotland watched the game with us. The game finished at 6:30AM his time in Scotland.

  16. Good For Marleau. As a Kings Fan. I will say he was always a King Killer. One of my favorites to watch. What a night for the Sharks Franchise. Sad he never was able to win a cup for the team, but still an great and honorable player!

  17. Patrick Marleau is the biggest underacheiver ever. The Sharks had a near decade long window to win the cup, but never cashed in. He always disappeared in the biggest moments.

  18. Not even a sharks fan but Marleau was electric to watch. Congrats on the retirement stick taps
