    Thanks for the update … a timely trade at seemingly good value and while he won’t help the Jets in the face off circle he certainly will help with puck possession and hopefully goal scoring.…definitely a chicken soup move , it won’t hurt and could be extremely helpful both in the short term and beyond.

    I love how Chevy seems to find the player that no one is talking about. I think Nino might help encourage other Jets to shoot more and that would be a great thing! Can’t wait to see what else Chevy has in store to improve the team. Thanks for the late night break down of the trade! I am feeling hopeful.

    This trade is a good start, considering did not have to give up a player. But it is just replacing Perfetti on the roster, so still need another fwd.

    Love how you jumped on this and with a great back ground! Good trade and good value pick up. Will give the team a boost mentally as well.

    Somewhat of a steal of a deal for the Jets, and giving up very little in return. This
    guy Niederreiter is a proven, solid point and the Jets need scoring. Now they have
    to add a couple good players to the bottom 6. In the last 30 games or so, they only
    have a combined total of 3 goals, and that's not going to get the job done. We need
    our bottom 6 on the Jets to contribute to our scoring. This is the most critical area
    that needs to be addressed. Off to a very good start with Nino tho 🙂

    Very good addition by Chevy! Nino will fit right in – expecially with Perfetti gone for the regular season.

    Really happy nino has been one of my favorite players after Iginla retired along with oshie.
    If we move Appleton or pionk more Cap space would be avaliable

    Ekholm,FabbroJenner,Nyquist,Moser,Saad,Ritchie,Bjugstad,bertuzzi,vallimaki ect
    Montreal just traded dadonov for gurianov, maybe they part with Savard,Edmundson, Anderson,Monahan,Hoffman,Anderson.

    I like the fact that when he’s at his best he’s annoying and a pest to play against. Decent skater with size who’s not afraid to get to the net! Jets desperately need a guy like that
