Here’s Jake Guentzel’s 3 goals against the Blue Jackets, as the youngster picks the right time for his first career hat trick, which includes the overtime winner.
This is the team to beat in the playoffs. These guys can easily handle Washington–should they get past the plucky Leafs. As for Columbus, it's a bad break for them drawing the Pens in the first round under this new format. They may salvage a game or two, but Pens are just too damn good with their depth and offensive potency.
Anybody that says the Pens won't be good when Sid and Geno retire are brain dead, you have Rust, Sheary, Guentzel, and we still have Sprong and Aston-Reese to call up. The future is bright!⭐️🙌

guentzel and sheary are just unbelievably amazing when they play with Crosby. Their only rookies but can beat veterans in puck battles.

just when I thought I saw one of he best lines in hockey (Bonino's last year), these guys pop up this season and have been playing amazingly.

9 goals in 8 games for Guentzel. I'm proud to say that this kid is part of our bright future, along with Sheary and Rust.
