  1. Hoglander was billed as a Jannik Hansen type of player. Fast, hardworking, gritty and defensively aware. Now, he's down on the farm because he's not defensively aware enough. I'm not on the Trade Nils Immediately Bandwagon, but I wouldn't exactly treat him like an untouchable. For me, Podkolzin is the more valuable player to this team, because he's shown a lot more defensive awareness and on a team like the Canucks who play like it's 1985, he seems like the guy not to trade. If a team like the Canucks with a very shallow prospect pool can find anyone expendable, I would think it would be Hoglander.

  2. As a Ranger fan, i never cared for the way the sports media and fanbase reacted to Kravtsov's situation and choices. Everyone acted like he was a bad person for wanting put himself in a situation that was good for his own career. It wasn't ever going to work out in NY. he wasn't going to have an impact playing 10 minutes on the 4th line and no PP looks and before anyone says anything, getting a few shifts on the first line or a powerplay shift in games that were already decided wasn't going to be enough to let him be the player he could be. A change of scenery was what was best and the Rangers need to clear cap room to land Kane. A win for everyone. And Kravtsov reminded me a lot of Pavel Buchnevich who was enigmatic, mercurial and frustrating his first years in NY but the Rangers were a much different team then and in a different phase of their development and villain arc. Drury is gearing up for the first of what is hopefully many Cup runs and isn't going to be happy with "getting deep into the post season." if the Rangers don't win a Cup this year or next, this accelerated rebuild will be looking at a serious retooling mid stream because of all the RFAs and expiring ELCs which will mean potentially losing out on someone like K'Andre Miller or Kappo Kakko because we don't have the cap space to offer them what they are worth.

  3. Good win for Vancouver, u deserve one after losing Bruce, thought Van was stuck with yet another bunch of morons in the front office, time will tell!!

  4. Rangers tried to hose Vancouver and good on the Canucks for rejecting those offers. Can't wait to see them give up more for Kane! For both he and Tarasenko are pure rentals and the Rangers won't make it out of the second round, in fact they may not beat the Devils in the first!

  5. Totally liking the way the nucks mngmt handled this. Also congrats leggo on the great date, I guess you didn't need to ask her if she liked stuff.

  6. Benning always gave up more for less . Now we give up less for more . This is the NHL way except for recent Canucks history

  7. This management is weird. Boeser contract and Miller contract is like WTF? But then this is a total win. Even if Kravstov doesn't pan out, we didn't really lose much. The upside is well worth it.

  8. Ya you have to give them Kudos for not over paying and being patient. This one has the potential to be a steal of a deal if they can get him resigned for around the same money for a few years and develop him properly, he is still young enough to turn it around. Lockwood is Galants kind of player and he will really help that team. He has played well for the Canucks but has been shy on points but that won't matter to Galant who values play away from the puck more than most do. I got the feeling this is going to work out for both teams big time. Great Hockey trade in my view.

  9. The end of leggo's date

Date: I had such a great time

Leggo: This has been a fun night. Please let me know the next time when we can meet up in the comments below. Vishejjfjfjee 99….and….bye.

  10. Really appreciate your content and dedication. From Buffalo, but my coworker is from Vancouver so it's nice getting the Canucks vids thrown is as my secondary team.

  11. Mr Dury this is a complete mismanaged of an asset you should traded him as soon as he went to Russia the last time or at the latest this year when you traded Niels. Totally unacceptable return. I hope you learned you lesson you strike when the oven is hot on anyone you deem not a good fit for this team and not wait when the oven is now super cold.

  12. I hope you could her watch some hockey. Great content, we'll see what Canucks can mustered up

  13. If true this is some phenomenal trade work by the Canucks. Patience, proper assessment of talent, brinksmanship, identifying a good fit, it's all there.

  14. Happy for your date man, hope it continues going well! haha, keep up the good work fr.

  15. Vitalie is a bust and bad character. Raty is slow. This is to clear space for Kane. Hoglander is a keeper.

  16. Congrats on your date going so well! I hope you get to see the person again soon. Cheers to you! 🍻
