Hard to believe with how many goals the Bruins have scored that their power play is 7th in the NHL usually it's 1 or 2 in the entire NHL.

Slightly higher basic tempo, faster and more accurate passing, more no-look and one-touch passes – I think that makes the small but important difference between the Bruins and the other top teams this season. And playing like this constantly in almost every game – incredible. This goes beyond each player's individual class, this is Monty's magic of team and confidence building!

That goal that David Pastrnak scored was a thing of beauty! The best passing play I’ve seen by any team this entire season. (I don’t watch every NHL game) That was a total team play & score! Not one person’s individual hockey skills but a team win! The Bruins put on a passing clinic on the Rags tonight. It all started with a good first pass from number 81 to 46, then 46 makes a great pass to 73, who passes to a completely unguarded 88-Pastrnak who scores the easiest goal of his professional career. A totally awesome team play! Number 35 (Ullmark) is going to win the Vezina trophy as he should. (3 goalies will get votes) but he’s the clear-cut winner & deservedly so. Because he is the best goalie in the league this season. I’m not a Boston Bruins fan at all, but it’d be cool if they go on to win the SC after this historic season would be pretty great to see! (I just noticed looking at their roster. They only have 5 players under 6 feet tall and the smallest & lightest guy is number 63 (Marchand) at 5’ 9” and 176 lbs. So they’re built perfectly for the playoffs)
Credit the Bruins as their play was nearly flawless. I tip my hat to my Rangers for playing better defense, but…ya take your man. Two of those goals scored one on one with the goalie. This has been their problem the last 3 weeks since picking up Tarasenko. They're leaving Shesterkin & Halak vulnerable too much & it's costing them down the stretch.

Being a Habs fan I should be hatin the Bruins just because its the right thing to do cause of the rivalry between these two storied franchises. Instead I'm loving the success they are having this year and it ALWAYS warms my heart to see one of the original 6 (except for Toronto) doing so well as to have a solid shot at DA CUP! rangers have to play a safe game, mikkola sucks! lost 2nd and 3rd best outlet passers (while disrupting the first) and defensive players on the team! 5 d leaves you w guys taking no chances to get in deep.

Boston was the better team but it now two weeks the rangers are playing shorthand in players with the ridiculous salary cap rules and the obvious dirty hit on Motte that there was no suspended of the Ottawa senators player the last game and still the Nhl did not allow a player to come in and play in the Boston game one word The Nhl is a joke when it comes to this silly rules.

The Bruins beat last years Vezina winner with Ullmark as this years front runner. The regular season has over a month left and the Bruins have nearly 50 wins!
As a Ranger fan all I can say is if they don’t tighten thing up defensively, they are out in the first round and they may even lose that 3 spot getting there. AP is trying to break the all time turnover record. His cross ice turnover passes are killing us.
