    Hope the canes remember the playoffs are a different beast! All the high flying stops! It’s the same team 7 games! Systems often get figured out. They target your best players! Hammer your D’s hope they can make it. They deserve it! Great fan base

    Have played to many games last 3 years.
    Catching up to them.
    Including all the playoff games.
    Have played more games than any other team in that time frame.

    whatever is going on with tampa the ship needs to turn around sooner then later cause you will have to face to leafs and you could get bounced in the first round.

    🤣🤣🤣 TBL got demolished 6-0………they aint making it back to SC finals for a verrrrrrrry lonnnnng time, Buttman loves pushing the expansion teams into SC finals bc that is what sells esp in a very American market. No way TBL getting past 2nd round vs. a stacked Bruins, Rangers, Leafs or Canes team…..TBL had VERY heavy SC push ~20yrs (the game is to be sold, right?), their run ended last year vs the Avs now its a bumpy downhill ride fueld by bolts fan hopium………..that 20 yr push secured fans across 3 diff generations of hockey fans, now they can tank yet still bank profits

    i know the canes didn’t make the spicy move at the deadline, but my goodness how good has ghost been his first two games? i tweeted this earlier but their powerplay has gone from 23rd to 13th in two games.

    seriously though. 19.3% to 22.0%.
    ten spots. in two games. i mean… think about that.

    they desperately needed that jolt to the second unit, and boy oh boy has he provided it. he’s so, so slick offensively. that saucer pass for the secondary assist on the first teravainen goal, and what an absolute cannon snipe for his own goal… just so many clever little plays. him and chatfield are an incredible third pair. in a sheltered role he’s gonna be a hell of a pickup.

    i think JP will fit really well too with his size and skating. don’t expect a ton of offense from him this year, but as a forechecker and big body with some skill he’s gonna make this team deeper. and considering stepan has lost a step this year, it’ll be good to get some more speed and energy in the bottom six.

    canes are gonna be really fun to watch down the stretch.

    ( Sharks fan ) In my opinion, the Canes made the best player acquisition out of all the NHL teams. Brent Burns is the best defenseman in the NHL. I'd choose Burns over Erik Karlsson every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

    TBL was completely outclassed, if they play like that even the Leafs have a chance to beat them in the playoffs! They had four 4! shots on goal with two minutes left in the second period, just terrible!!

    Lol why would a team like this who has been the finals 3 straight years, being going hard right now? This is clearly a team looking forward to the playoffs, they’re chillin right now haha
