With two assists tonight, Quinn Hughes became the fastest defenceman in NHL history to reach 200 career assists in 263 games played, beating Brian Leetch who reached the milestone in 264 games played.

Legend
Quinn “Helpy” Hughes
This is why we’re not rebuilding I suppose!
For those wondering (and to make this even more impressive) Makar is currently on pace to do it in 274 games.
No way a player like this has any success in his career. Much better to tank for a rebuild and hope we can get some players as good in a few years
What an absolute treat to watch. Him and Petey are the only reason I still tune in for games.
Hughes is the best defenseman we’ve ever had and it’s not even close. Petey the best forward we’ve ever had. Demko quite possibly the best goalie we’ve ever had.
We do not need a full rebuild.
We should definitely not throw out the baby with the bathwater here.
Quinn Hughes is a Vancouver Canuck.
quinn hughes is a generational playmaker
He’s our best Dman ever by a country mile. Now only if he could get some help…
Threat of this going off topic but having a possible top 10 center in the NHL (Petey) and a top 10 defensman (Quinn) are reasons why you cant tear it all down like some are suggesting. They are the 2 most difficult pieces to find when building a team and you have to give a little bit to make them happy. Its not like playing NHL 23
Mr. Appleton Spiced Rum
I don’t like thinking about a Vancouver Canucks team without a Quinn Hughes
Elite.
Will be sad when they trade him to Jersey.
But we still wanna get rid of him and pettey and rebuild right? Right??
Maybe we can get that 2nd round pick back after all
That’s something
What a chad
If he plays his entire career here in Vancouver he’s going to smash records for scoring when it comes to defenseman in Vancouver. I don’t think it a hot take to say he’s the best defenseman the Canucks have ever had.
Hughes is really underated by other teams fans, he’s a future too 5 defencemen in the league. On a better team he’d already undoubtedly be
You could see it, how special he is, from day one.
