To be honest, I actually didn’t think we played that bad last night. 3 games in 4 days on the road in the west time zones. Lots of new faces, and we held our own until mid way through the 3rd. Those 2 unlucky bounces giving away the SHO goals was shitty, but I think we will be ok

The good news will be IF we win, all the pressure will be on Boston in the second round. And with the monkey off our back anything will be possible 😉

At this point in the Matthews/Marner era I’m kind of just sick of these takes and narratives. Almost every player we’ve discarded has gone onto find success elsewhere. There are 2 NHL teams who haven’t seen the second round in 20+ years: Toronto and Seattle. The players on this team just need to fuck on and win.

The real problem is Dubas is a numbers guy, not a hockey guy. He went full trade deadline physco crunching numbers instead of bringing in hockey sense. He should have stopped at ror and accari.
