Solution here is to just ride this out. Team has been dominant for 3+ years, it’s bound to have a tough stretch. We can’t play this bad for the rest of the season. This team has way too much talent to be this terrible consistently. I think it’s important to take a step back, realize how lucky we’ve been since 2019, and just appreciate where we’ve been. This team will eventually run out of steam, but this isn’t it. We are still in a playoff spot, and so long as we are in the dance, we have a shot. Long time people here will remember 2019, where we faced no adversity and said regular season doesn’t matter so long as we get to the playoffs.
Got some tough games coming up, hopefully Hedman is ok and Cernak can return soon. Everyone needs to play better

Obviously the whole game was shit but that was the worst second period collapse in a slump defined by forgetting how to play when we reach the second period
We need to change our lines. We haven’t played defense or handled the puck well at all in last 5 games.
This is starting to become worrisome. You’d think they’re gonna figure it out or make some changes or something. They’re not officially *in the playoffs* yet. I know it was a hard stretch of schedule but they need to pull out of the skid eventually.
Of course, if Hedman’s out, it’s gonna be a slog even if they start showing effort.
As much as it sucks to watch – this team has more than earned the opportunity to figure it out.
With all those future deals JBB signed last summer, it’s clear he was giving this group 1 more run at it before having to make some tough calls on the older guys. That’s still the case until this team gets knocked out, so just ride it out.
I will say this is incredibly bizarre. Haven’t seen a terrible run like this in a long time, and tbh I’m a bit surprised they haven’t had a bounce back game after some of these poor performances.
Coaching staff is smarter than I, but hopefully they can figure something out here. Have to pray Heddy is ok though…

we were screwed from the start today. a nationally televised game in the middle of a slump versus carolina in raleigh in a matinee game on the second half of a back to back. i never had hopes today but to be outright embarrassed was tough. we’re gonna be okay though. have to weather the storm and find our way out of the rut
