I’m team tank but man Stealovs is gonna be the goalie of the future.

  2. Wittgenscottsteiner

Unreal!! Silovs v. Saros battle and the rookie takes it. Didn’t see that coming!

    Great game!

  3. dellzor1

Petey too good. Silovs too good. I’m so mixed, I want team tank for a better pick but damn

  4. matty_slice

God it’s nice to enjoy watching this team again.

  5. I don’t know what to feel. I want to tank but I love winning.

Very happy that petey got to 300 points and silovs got his first nhl shootout win. Make Latvia proud!

  6. inviernainvicta

Once the regulation loss is off the table, Team Tank might as well embrace the win. Good stuff!

  7. Mister_Me_Seeks

Should I be happy that Silovs got the win? Or should I be angry we won. WHAT SHOULD I BE FEELING?!

  8. theboneandonly

With the 10th overall pick, the Vancouver Canucks are proud to select…

  9. 1DVSBSTRD5

Silovs knew where the puck was

He just posted the most savage cele as a goalie after a shootout win

  10. Man its so conflicting to want a win vs want the 1-3OA pick. Pls hockey gods do us a favor for once.

  11. Portalgate

God, I am so mixed. I love seeing the boys happy and getting the W but I rather have a better draft

  12. monkey314

I swear if this team folds and crumbles again next season I’m gonna be so god damn mad!!! I’m so bitter this year 😂

  13. smokylimbs

I feel like they’ve tricked me into liking winning again

  14. The teams win reactions and Garland patting everyone as they go off is my fave and I wish the camera didn’t jump around while it happens. I think the fourth line and Pettersson had great games. First line struggled defensively but Pettersson made up for it with his goals. It’s going to be interesting when Hronek joins because we’ve already been playing much better defensively so his addition might be huge. I don’t know if they’ll be able to tank anymore this team is finding its chemistry under Tocchet.

    Moral Victories!

The core always plays their best once the pressure is off.

  16. Mikeywestside

There was a period of time over the past few years where I was feeling like Pettersson’s ceiling might be lower than we were hoping, like he’d be a reliable #2 or #1 C on a weaker team. Games like tonight show me how wrong I was. He’s a genuine danger to whoever we’re playing against every single second he’s on the ice.

Also, Silovs is looking pretty legit, early in his career. It’s good to know we’ve got a reliable second goalie in our system.

  17. theboneandonly

They gonna win all these games down the stretch and then go into next season with “unfinished business” again

  18. burnabybambinos

Good Coach + Good Goalie = more wins.

    This is sustainable.

  19. amerilia

Watching the Silovs interview, while I feel that he’s a bit casual about the lead loss, I’ll say that comparing that to Martin, who had super high expectations and was exceedingly hard on himself, it’s kind of refreshing. To me, Silovs response shows he’s not excessively hard on himself and has personal resiliency, and that can only be a good thing. Martin’s past response was ok until he slumped (and then lost 10 in a row…), and it burned him cause of his high personal expectations

  20. PMMeYourCouplets

If we never lose again, we don’t have to worry about tanking.

  21. RECTmetal

Why is watching the Canucks always such a hard battle with cognitive dissonance? Are we tanking or trying to chalk up two more points? Tf lol.

  22. Silovs proving to be an unexpected bright spot this season. Nice find in the sixth round!

  23. smcfarlane

Everyone should start scouting Will Smith.

  24. International_Pen478

Petey is the anti tank. Wasn’t even his best game but he gets a goal and the shootout winner

  25. DavieStBaconStan

Canucks on their way to 17th place! No Bedard for you!!!

  26. monkey314

    Bottom line is.
If they win, only about 30% can be happy with the result because hope.

If they lose, everyone can be happy with the result because draft and hope.

side thought, imagine if that NYI 1st nets the Wings Celebrini ah gahd🤦‍♂️ I got work tomorrow.

  27. Vaderwasframed74

Kings fan here… No Bédard for you!!! Great win Canucks.

Quick question though… I know Tanner Pearson is injured. What is his injury status? I liked him when he was with the Kings.

  28. cram9800

Honestly, I don’t even want Bedard here for his own well being. I don’t want him to be working for a Vancouver slumlord like Aquilini. FAs probably gonna manipulate the fuck out of him since he’s literally a celebrity in Canada. Let the Hawks have him they’ll treat him like royalty.
