    Georgie was great tonight. The defense was clicking all night. The Avs played physical tonight and took advantage of the Knights mistakes. And the Avs take the season series with a shutout.

    The AVS are getting healthy at right time they are playing good Hockey 6 win in a row, I just feel sorry for who ever they play in the playoffs . AVS back 2 back champs .

    To think of how many injuries this Avs team had been through all seasonā€¦ we all knew Gabe wasnā€™t gonna be ready until the end but injuries to every key skater and they are in position to win the West with 20+ games to goā€¦ scary scary scary team.. and thatā€™s without Joe Cool making any slick trade moves yet.

    SO much good stuff in this game! Georgie's shutout, Toews was awesome, Mikko's first goal was amazing and now has 40, MacKinnon continuing his goal streak! But most importantly, we are now in prime position to win the division and the conference again!! (and we're doing this without Makar and Landy! I can't wait to get those guys back on the ice!)

    With the Avs remaining schedule, they could run away with the west. Only two more games against any beasts of the east (NJ and Tor) and a lot of games against the lower tier west teams and many of which have gone full yard sale.

    That was clinical, Vegas couldn't get anything going, almost all perimeter shots. JT is finally starting to reach his full potential, he made a beautiful seam pass to Nieto on Friday against WPG that was similar to the one in the game to Mikko. He's been so damn good since week 2; he has 39 points in 49 games after only getting 2 in his first 9 games.
    Sadly it's a ufa year for him, which is when most players seem to have breakout years lol

    We can count out VGK for any deep runs into the playoffs. It's a sad commentary about a team that is completely inept on the power play and a complete sieve on penalty killing over the span of 5 years and 3 different head coaches. It's like the team has no defense or goaltender coaching at all and they let the players do what they want.
