Gustavsson is clearly the number one goalie for this team. My biggest fear is that the Wild will try to shoehorn Four Goals Fluery as the starter in the playoffs like they did last year

Take the loser point and move on but would of been nice if somebody picked a corner with 1 of the 40 shots. Hard work for 60 just needed to finish a couple.

I love grimy games like this, just because there were only 2 goals doesn't mean there was a lack of intensity or excitement. Outstanding goaltending as aswell.

What are the Islanders team stats in the shootout this year? How many shots and how many goals? Like 1 for 20 or something?
I wroted like 10 times already: make Gus a 90% of time goalie!!! and MAF only 10% for games- a substitute goalie! Cause in clutch games Gus is the man💪🥅. Even better will be to trade MAF for younger keeper with potential. Cause now "he"- keeper, is young 20-22 y.o and has mediocre stats, but any young athlete is "hungry"+he is learning so in 2 years time Wild will have a good,solid keeper who will be as good as Gus! I don't wanna tell names but they're plenty of them in Ahl, or NCAA or in KHL or in any good European league!
