Excellent interview. As I was listening, it crossed my mind that The Rangers told you that Felip Mesar was too much in demand, so therefore no interviews would be given.
I really don't believe that Mesar is more in demand than Beck. I love independent journalism because nobody could control you as a journalist. Take Marinaro or Laraque for instance. Molson, Hughes and Gorton will give them interviews at the condition that they discourage any kind of criticism against them. Please, don't fall into that trap. They are just using you.
On that note, I want to congratulate you again for a fantastic interview with Owen…..and don't give up on Mesar…..lol

Since Owen has been drafted, I view him as a steal in the draft. He's such a talented and smart player. But one of the things I like about him most is his attitude. He's confident but not arrogant. I really like the team the Habs are building. Skill alone doesn't win championships. Attitude is part of that winning formula. Also, I'd rather cheer for a team I like than a Stanley cup winning team who's players I loath.
I hope to see Owen make the pros next season and maybe even play regular season game with the Habs at one point. Good luck Owen!!
