I hope those are paid for and all brand new and sealed before being tossed because I would assume that it's not super safe to exchange this with Covid and all. Who the hell would actually give a used teddy bear to their child nowadays.
Edit: I just googled it and according to some news site "Fans are encouraged to bring a new teddy bear or other new stuffed animal to the game." So that means that there's no control over the state of those teddy bears.
The Hockey Guy making the cameo as Santa Claus was kinda cool. They mean well though all those Teddy Bears tend to land on the fans not the ice. At least a few of them were in bags as that can't be good for the surface getting hair or other things. Eyes or parts of the buttons or things break off from that as its pretty hard. Imagine getting one of those wondering why its cold or frozen or how it came to your possession :).
It was weird not throwing them on the first home goal, but I understand their concerns. It looks like you wearer sitting in the opposite corner to the seat i picked up
Went to the Edmonton Oil Kings game tonight that also had the Teddy Bear toss night & also the kid that scored the goal was his first as an Oil King . Loved the atmosphere and was a great game overall.
Missed tossing at MB Moose games. Always in bags to keep the ice clean and new vs gently loved had different coloured bags. Great idea getting the on-ice kids to wear helmets.
Nice Class C. We looked at one of those Outlaws at the RV show a couple of months back. Pretty big inside. Had bunk beds for kids. Wish I pulled the trigger. That said, on a similar charity note, there's a house near me that decorates to look like the Griswold house from Christmas Vacation and they have a toy drive. You put the toys in Eddie's RV(the disposition of the shitter is unknown).

Just came back from the Teddy Bear Toss Game for the Edmonton Oil Kings. Very entertaining 7-4 win over Moose Jaw.
I think calgary does it the best such a good tradition

Such a fun night
We also have this with the Bakersfield Condors but we toss our bears on the first Condors goal
Clue me in as to what the Teddy bear toss is all about? It looks interesting and fun.

Aww that’s always nice I even heard the Canucks were doing a jersey toss night too. Wholesome organization
I am guessing this is like a toy drive and they will give these teddies to kids who need them.
Did Evander Kane play this game? I know he’s with the cuda right now but I can’t find if he played tonight.
The contrast of this to the Canucks game at Rogers Arena couldn't be more obvious. Teddy bears thrown in one game, jerseys thrown on the other lol

My favorite is the Hershey Bears drive. It's like an avalanche of stuffed animals.
Why the RV on the ice?
Good family fun, I'm liking it.
Always loved going to the teddy bear toss in Portland.
after all Abbotsford has been through and still showing the Canadian good will -Abbotsford you make this Ontario guy feel proud!!

I love these videos!
This is awesome, really stuffs up your nose with the sniffles
Gotta love Shannon’s humor.
Thanks for sharing. Love these traditions.
Teddy bear toss nights are always fun
Hershey's bear toss is pretty darn impressive as well. Nice to see Abbotsford do it.
teddy bears Royal rumble toss. So where do all the teddy bears go to?
Love this🥰. So glad for the Minor league support.
I would like to see this at every AHL team early December.
I'm so upset Hartford's got cancelled last night with the team having covid 😭 I love the teddy bear toss
Why is there an RV on the ice?
thats so cute and nice, that little girl got decked by the big bear though haha
All AHL/NHL teams should do this
There’s always those big buggers that just refuse to go over the boards… you know the ones. Haha.
Saw my first Teddy Bear toss when we moved to Atlanta and went to the ECHL Gladiator game. I was awesome to see…
This I think is tremendous…like the set time toss as I once went to a BCHL game night toss and the home team was blanked…embarrassing for the boys.
Who else saw the little kid get smoked 😭
for our Indy Fuel, they let us toss the bears when the Fuel score the first goal of the game
💙💚💙💚💙💚
No body does teddy bear toss better than the Hersey bears. It is a great event tho for the kids tho

You cut it too early! I was rooting for that kid trying to get the bear over the glass.
Teddy plays for Penguins.LOL.
Great video 🙂 … :):):):):):):):):):):):):)
wow!
Hockey should do more things like this. Throwing charity items onto the ice. Great fan engagement then just leaving things in a bin.
