I’m never gunna be able to recover from this loss. I wanna skip watching till the playoffs now but I might just skip the playoffs aswell after that game.
i make a bet vs my leafs family every year and we have lost 10 of our last 11 to the leafs. Please for the love of god stop sucking so bad against them for no reason, yall gonna have me homeless
I guess I shouldn't be surprised but the despair and impatience of SOME of my fellow Devil fans is a little ridiculous. The Devils have been doing this TO teams all year. To good teams. Toronto is a damn good team, too, so I'm chalking this up to law of averages. They made some great plays. Their goalie made big saves. Tip your hat. The playoffs will be a roller coaster. Get used to it.
It's a bad beat. It happens. Hate to lose like this, but it's one game. Maybe if Bratt scores on the breakaway to go up by 2 this result is different. But their effort the last 2 games defensively needs to tighten up. And we won't play the Leafs again until next year(0% chance they make it to the ECF to our 25% lol). I don't blame Timo for the loss, a game is 60 minutes and there were a lot of mistakes and missed opportunities within it from NJD. Onto the next one.
Lost a close regular season game a bit disappointing but not a big deal. Compared to the previous 10 plus seasons this season has been pure gold. The constant complaining, whining and overreacting by some is baffling.
it seems now every breakdown leads to a goal. it really needs to stop. WE cant play so fast and loose. Its not helping our goaltenders w/ confidence either. I have been saying for a while now that i feel this team is inconsistent, but capable of overcoming that with high power scoring. Thats prob not gonna work in the playoffs.

Power play was absolutely garbage. One PP for 4 minutes and we had no SOG! There’s no excuse for that! And we need those rebounds.
