Jonathan Marchessault scored twice as part of his three-point performance and Jack Eichel netted his 23rd goal of the campaign as the Vegas Golden Knights defeated the New Jersey Devils 4-3 in the shootout.

    Can't be too disappointed after thiss loss. We were the better team but Hill was the difference maker. Since we had that bad loss to the Habs last week we are 3-0-1. So far 1-0-1 on this road trip with a chance to go 2-0-1 against Arizona Sunday. 5 out of 6 points would be awesome and is very doable.

    The only consolation is that the Devils got 1 point. I hate that the Devils lost this game and the way that they lost. The Devils have to find a way to win games like this if they are to have a chance against Boston. The Devils need more grit and muscle.
    Please — bring on Timo Meier and Curtis Lazar asap.

    I understand these players get paid a lot of money but the fact the devils did not backcheck at all on the 2v1 play when knights scored is sad. When I played for my national team our coach would bench us if we did not backcheck. Also the defensemen did a horrible job anticipating this 2v1 he should have given the goalie the 1v1 with the player cutting off the pass to the knights 2nd player and it would have stopped there 3rd goal. Idk if its just me but If I was in that situation I would be backchecking as hard as I could not gliding back not caring about what may happen, as a player you need to change that outcome PS… I would destroy each play on what should have been done and what could change on EVERY highlight in this video!!! There are so many times the Devils go down on a rush pass it then they C-cut there way back to the bench when they should be driving to the Net not going for a line change now you are giving you 1 player a possible chance against 3-5 knights players that are backchecking to stop your teammate from scoring. There were many chances giving in front of the net where the puck went that way and no Devil was in front of the net

    As a Devils 😈 fan this should of been over in OT no doubt we should of walked away with the 2 points also we pretty much outplayed Vegas, but we will take the 1 point, VGK is a great team too & HILL WAS REMARKABLE! I was like who is he? He’s a beast, HILL IS A FUTURE ALL STAR ⭐️ WHAT A PERFORMANCE BY HILL, he went unconscious in that net lol 😂 was a really good game much respect!

    Good game Vegas, Hill was a brick 🧱 wall from a Devils 😈 fan, can’t wait for Timo Meier to play too hopefully against The Coyotes tomorrow, cause we are already a remarkable offensive force and you add Meier to that top line with Bratt & Hughes along with that Mercer-Hischier-Tatar line we are gonna be nearly unstoppable LGDDD! 😈🖤 WE NEVER GIVE UP! I love my team Devils & Knights are better than The Rangers that’s for sure.

    I had the misfortune of attending a hockey game in Vegas. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! It is a giant circus with a hockey game going on. The people have zero idea what hockey is, the actual game gets in the way of the star ridden big screen in the center of the cue, the idiotic band and cheer leaders, and the gas nothing to do with hockey between period crap on the ice. The stupidest thing of all … the ridiculous and unnecessary noise is unlovable and the chants of shame, shame, Shane when a player on the opposing team gets a penalty is embarrassing at best. Shame is right … it was a shame I wasted $138 US on this bullshit (left after the second period) and it is a shame what these clowns have done to hockey. Nice arena outside, inside it looks like a run down barn, and it is full of village idiots. NEVER AGAIN, STAY AWAY FROM NHL GANES IN VEGAS, you are better off throwing your money into a slot machine! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
