Pretty good to be in the same convo as Hughes who was drafted 4th
Very Knies!
I wonder if Dubas will render an offer to any NCAA free agents (though I suppose we only have 1 available contract slot).
This is amazing and I love Knies, but the award should go to Fantilli.
He pretty good 🙂
I wonder if there’s a reason fantilli isn’t in the finalists?
This guy will end up on Matthews wing. Bet. Bunting will move to a line with Oreilly and Lafferty. Jarnkrok with JT and Willy. Then ZAR Kampf Acciari. My opinion obviously but i have a feeling. 2 arizona boys bring it home.. , and finally something to come from Bettmans garbage legacy of bending backwards to save Arizona.. to end the Leafs curse….. wild to think about if that happened hahah
Edit: i get Kerfoot is playing over ZAR because Keefe..
And Adam Fantilli of Michigan, who leads the NCAA in scoring will just win the Hobey but not Big Ten Player of the year. Makes perfect sense to me 😂
I’m just gonna say it, gotta love Matt Knies but this seems like a silly top 3. What is Player of the Year measuring here? I think Matt Knies is going to be a player, but he’s the 3rd highest scoring player on HIS LINE. Bischel is a .500 goaltender on the 3rd best team in the league. And Hughes is obviously Hughes but it ignores the season that Adam Fantilli just had out everybody by a wide margin.
In fact, Knies might be the 4th most deserving player on his own team with the way their goalie has played. I mean, maybe it’s got like leadership and academics in it and I’m way off base. Makes sense to include guys from the top 3 teams so I get why 2 from either of the top 2 teams aren’t there, but I just don’t know what it’s measuring.
Only a fool de-Knies him his place come playoff time.
