Pathetic suspension, DeAngelo wasn’t involved in the scrum, skated up and speared a dude who wasn’t even looking at him.

DeAngelo is really lucky we have class acts on this team. After that move, he should have to keep his head on a swivel. If I were a Bolt, I would TAKE EXTREME PRIDE in a charging/boarding call the next time I saw him.
This is more of a hit in the nuts than the actual hit in the nuts.

2 games isn’t enough but he now has a huge target on his back when we play them again.
Today on the Jeff Marek podcast he played a soundclip of D’Angelo after the game & he tries to make himself the victim saying he was punched like 30 times .. he also said he didnt mean to spear Perry in the junk but meant to spear him…Marek was making fun of him…

Poor little anthony deangela, love how he was pretending to be the victim during the postgame. Crying about Perry trying to knock his stick out of his hand. Yeah, that’s reason to spear a guy in the family jewels. And then trying to act tough about fighting Perry when he knows the Lightning don’t play the Flyers again this season. And Torts is like “love how he competes”, what about a talented player with absolutely no character Torts? That gonna make your team strong? None of his teammates even went to help him when he got dog piled by the Lightning players after his cheap shot, that says it all.
2 games effectively amounts to nothing.
