J.T. Miller had a pair of goals including scoring the game-winner 20 seconds into OT and Elias Pettersson chipped in with a pair of helpers as the Vancouver Canucks won their third straight game defeating the Anaheim Ducks 3-2.

I honestly don’t get this team, suck all year and then as soon as us fans get some small window of hope for the future, they throw it all away. It’s an endless cycle of mediocrity.

As Petey finds his next level… canucks have done next to nothing in 5 years to improve the team's position. Had they properly done the rebuild in 2017, they'd be competing for more than simply a playoff spot… what a waste of 5 years
Let's face it, there was no way we were going to tank enough to have a shot at Bedard. We won't make the playoffs, but might as well bolster the players' individual stats.

Tried to watch the World Baseball Classic on another SN channel during intermissions. Sportsnet decided to describe the location of that game as "Taichung, Taiwan, PROVINCE OF CHINA". Does Sportsnet support the invasion of a soveriegn country by China? Whoever made the decision to add that last bit to that descriptor needs to be fired immediately.

Team USA comes up big for the Canucks! Notice how all 4 players on the ice in OT are US born: Demko, Garland, Hughes, and Miller. Canucks would have a good Team Russia too if you include Russian speaking Silovs with Kuzmenko, Mikheyev, and Kravtsov.
