Can we just get some consistency please? The highs are really high. The lows are really low. I wish they would just play at a level and just stay there and if you end up losing to some teams that are better occasionally then that’s fine but this team is like Jekyll and Hyde.

Penguins have still got it in spurts. Maybe they can piece together a few good games if they sneak into the playoffs. Who knows.
Time for the Penguins to pull a 2021 Steelers and steal the last playoff spot due to the high-end talent even though they will get their asses kicked by the Bruins or Hurricanes. I will say the depth FINALLY showed up against a good team for once, can they keep it up though? Also, Brian Elliot got cooked, ask Flyers fans about how he does against the Penguins.
It also helps good Casey showed up tonight.

I commented it just the other day. The Lightning are just an average team without Vasilevsky in net. When I saw the score on the highlight page, I knew that Elliot had been the netminder.
