Honestly I think the campaign should just be there words. “Clean up Toxic Waste Dump”. The fact that people are fighting so hard to keep a dump that frequently catches fire what it is is crazy. It’s waterfront property. Affordable housing isn’t going to magically spring up on the site. If some other developer is crazy enough to pay remediate the site it’s just going to end up being expensive condos anyway. Otherwise it’s just a toxic dump forever.
