this trade paid real quick dividends for the maple leafs from these first few games alone. I bet these are gonna be representative of the lengthened depth they provide to the leafs over the course of the season

Kerfoot entering the zone and buying himself some time along the boards is what stemmed this play, I feel (0:26). His calmness and awareness allowed him to make a quick read to the net. Good plays all around from the team, and congrats to Acciari for sure!
