Brandon Sutter on dealing with long Covid and if a return to the NHL is possible
Former Canucks Forward Brandon Sutter joined the guys to chat about his health and dealing with long Covid and also if a return to the NHL is still in the cards.
Pretty depressing. Odds are his career, and Toews as well, are over. Shame that this possibly happened due to one selfish individual not following masking and distancing guidelines and heading to dinner one night by believing the right-wing propaganda of it all being "a hoax."
Covid really was a b*tch. Seeing guys like Sutter and Toews really reminds you how scummy atni-vaxers really were. It really showed the disturbing amount of selfishness we have in our society- well, we already knew it was there, but it really compounded it.
At the end of the day, professional athletes are human beings too, and when they suffer from the effects of a long-term illness, the stress that places on them and their families is still immense (granted, they likely have more resources than the rest of us to deal with these problems). I hope Brandon Sutter will have a full recovery and can contribute to the game of hockey in some ways down the road… All the best.
I can't believe he was affected this much its a freaking shame. can you imagine how much better our 3rd line would have been. its so bizarre really. I wonder if it triggered autoimmune disorders.
but ffs nobody but a very small bunch says that covid was a hoax. people just say the vaccine doesn't seem to work too well, the lockdowns which didn't help at all just ruined our economy and did nothing to slow down covids spread and the mask hypocrisy are legitimate questions that need to be addressed but as soon as someone tries they get labeled a "anti-vaxxer". SMH
Good interview, guys, thanks for this. Had no idea the Canucks had been clobbered so completely by that evil microbe, and particularly Brandon. Hitting a bit hard because my wife's battling covid at the moment, and while I know the long version's 'rare', it's easy to worry about possible long term harm.

Once again, thank you, Jake Virtanen.
Long covid or vaccine complications?
Wish him all the best to get rid of this
Accept it Brandon you a coach now
Have to feel good 24h after doing anything???? Good luck in your forties Brandon.
If you’re able to the Canucks fans would be happy to have you back on the roster Brandon. Best of luck with your young family and your health.
Always love hate an you guys are not part of solution you inflame and agitate to no end like a bunch of puppets

All the best to those suffering from Covid.
Not sure Brandon Sutter's doctor or anyone informed him, but vitamin D and Zinc really helps a lot. Maybe he's already doing it? I don't know.
We could use him if he comes back

sutter returned to play after having covid. just another jab injury getting swept under the rug.
He says himself he's 'somewhere in the middle' about the jab. Good for him for not towing the line like Donnie tried to set him up for..
Loved watching Brandon play with the Canucks. Hope he can get back to full health soon.
I've been thinking of Brandon and coming back (on a PTO?) to the Canucks to be their 3rd line Center next fall. Good Luck to him!
Good luck Brandon. He would be a good 4th line centre at 850K
Sounds like covid shot his immune system.

There's no such thing as long Covid
Feel bad about his bad luck. Would be nice to see him return
I know the truth
guy continually hurt, and now long covid…cut the guy loose…the guy is 34 now…nice guy, but time to move on.
No shot no booster no problem
Long Covid is the code word for a certain injury

Shitty deal. Seems like a good guy.
Donnie hasn’t a clue to what the truth is. Like a blinded sheep
He has long term effects because he got the jab
