  1. Was deflating, first shot in and last shot in last second of the first. But the Oilers played with heart and determination for the full 60 minutes and great things happen when you commit to every minute of the game. Super impressive win tonight! Incredible mental composure by Skinner after a tough first. Massive 2 points! Very much a playoff vibe contest.

  2. But the Oilers are only a 2-men Team…which two Janmark and Bouch…Shore and Mc Leod or Nurse and Ceci?🤣🤣🤣

  3. Hyman has really dropped off lately. McLeod is turning into an amazing player! Ekholm sure stabilizes things. And, we look big out there- a lot of big players throwing their weight, etc around.

  4. Look how Kane makes a good team very good. Beating Bean Town Bruins gives me hope Oilers will games in playoffs

  5. Ekholms best game as an OIler so far he was a Tower of Power out there….he had a huge impact on the game he tilted things in Edmontons favor with an exclamation mark in the first period not allowing the Bruins to breath…..huge huge game from that man to set the tone like that against Boston….This guy hits more than Larsson methinks. Take the 2 points and keep running till you are a numerical playoff lock.

  6. This game builds massive confidence and makes a Cup run more plausible, as they just beat the best team in the league on their home ice. Well done Edmonton 💯

  7. Historically the Oilers are a good match up for the Bruins. Bruins are 11-10 in the regular season with the Oilers since 2009. Lifetime Bruins have a pretty convincing record over the Oilers. But the real test is the holy grail…the Stanley Cup final round. Bruins are not a strong Stanley Cup Final team winning only 6 Cups since 1929. In fact MoneyPuck gives the Bruins an 8.8% chance of winning the Cup and the Oilers a 12.4% chance with Carolina running away with it at 16.7%. To summarize the top 3 teams with the best odds to win the Cup – Carolina 16.7%, Oilers 12.4%, Bruins 8.8% and it goes down from there. The Bruins have never beaten the Oilers in a Stanley Cup Final contest losing twice to the Oilers. Having the historical season Boston is having this year is most definitely a double-edged sword. The expectations and pressure to win the Stanley Cup this year is beyond massive. Bruins have losses with several western conference teams this season including the Yotes. Bottom line is the Bruins winning the Stanley Cup this year is far from being guaranteed.

  8. Nobody got hurt except Mcdavid. When the Refs refuse to call penalties which they did to help Boston avoid the Oilers PP….wee then its House rules and its every man for himself and men get really hurt. If these Teams meet post season people will get injured because the Refs will make it get ugly to support the American Teams chances of winning , we already all know that. The Bruins played Possum. Next time they will not.
