  1. I would be interested in seeing one of these on Daniil Gushchin I haven't gotten the chance to watch him play though from what I hear he is a undersized winger with a lot of speed tearing it up in the USHL

  2. I have a question about the criteria you decided to use to evaluate your five categories. It seems like there is a lot of overlap in your analysis of each category. For example, a lot of what you talk about in the first three categories is what I would consider different aspects of "hockey sense". On the other hand, in your "think" category (which I would think as being where you would talk mostly about hockey sense), it seems you talk a lot about what I would think of as drive/engine/consistency. In the "move" category, there also seems to be a lot of references to the same themes. There just seems to be a lot of overlap in general.

I'm curious why you chose not to make your categories more orthogonal? Wouldn't that make it easier to score and differentiate between prospects?

  3. Great work Will! Do you think Holtz can be compared with Elias Pettersson, in some ways? They are not the same type of players, but I do see some similarities. I don't think Holtz will have the same immediate impact as EP had, but maybe not that far. What do you think?

  4. I love your scouting reports, but eel the need to point out that Holts is playing on a team worse than Raymond’s and Gunler’s, both Raymond and gunner play on arguably the most skilled teams while Holtz’s team which is not bad usually just makes the playoffs. Doesn’t affect his skills and flaws but hurt his defensive and offensive advanced analytics.
