  1. 4:15 the new arena is going to be privately funded. How are you going to speak on this topic when you clearly have no clue what you’re talking about? How do you have this job?

  2. How do these two stooges get a show? Obviously incredibly short-sighted, incredibly biased takes, not to mention completely unprofessional. I mean, if you're gonna take a dig at the arena, at least get the fact that the new one will be privately funded right. And not to mention that they have, what, 22+ draft picks in the first 3 rounds for the next 3 years? Leafs fans should be scared of that fact. 5 years down the line, yotes will be looking at a playoff run in a new arena, potentially with the next generational talent. meanwhile, the Leafs are realistically staring down 1 or 2 more years of relevancy? Matthews a huge asset to be traded / picked up in FA for the coyotes, too. I knew the OG 6 teams' fan bases were miserable, but jesus christ, these 2 fans might be the most entitled ones I've ever seen.

  3. AZ will continue to stay at the bottom of the NHL. This franchise would be better off with Uncle Rico running the show in AZ. Like have we ever seen a team do anything like this and be successful in any team organized sport. Why the hell would Conor B wanna go to AZ. How going to hold on to Jacob for this long and only get what they did in return. Look what Detroit got for Hronek from Vancouver. Makes no sense at all. Look what Nashville got back from Trading Ekholm, Preds not only received Tyson Barrie, Reid Schaefer, 1st round pick in 2023 and a 4th round pick in 2024
Sens made out like a bunch of bandits on this trade and AZ will continue to be the laughing stock of the league and the bottom feeds of salary dumps

  4. Nothing that the Coyotes are doing is against the rules. If you want the rule of LTIR changed fine but don't be taking a shot at them for just that. Leafs might be in the same camp in a couple years if they keep failing in the play-offs.

  5. The issue is that the NHL only cares about cap circumvention in one way. Gary is cool with his owners bending the rules to save money, but not bending them to spend more and making it look like they have more to give when it comes to signing players and building teams. The fix is simple; Luxury Tax.

  6. There are not that many team in the NHl. How do you not know the teams Arizona Coyotes and not Phx. The owners are not asking for tax payer dollars dum dum. Get the facts right if you are going to have a show.

  7. They are all just playing the Game. Tampa with no cap in the playoffs, Toronto taking advantage of the draft a few years ago, now get players for $0.25 cents on the dollar to stay under a cap. Most of the teams find ways and if they don't they need to trying hard. It sucks! Arizona does boil my blood a bit, but this is how the NHL wants to run.

  8. Gary literally used Tampa as the case study for going from a bankrupt franchise to a stanley cup champion. In Gary's head that is the archetype to rebuild the franchise give it a decade yotes will become a contender soon enough. Lool also I love large markets shit on small market teams when they have no idea what its like being a fan of one.

  9. Great discussion. Players are the victims here. They are bought/ sold/ traded at the whims of these dictator owners.

  10. I think its more of a joke given how awful Arizona is with everything. If they were generating revenue, or had fans, or tried to win games the cap issue wouldnt be an issue. But it all compounds.

  11. You are retarded for thinking they are asking for the taxpayers to pay for the arena. It's funded privately.
They do get tax cuts later, but it generates so much more in tax revenue when it is built.

  12. What's really crazy, is the Coyotes could have built a good team by now, but keep trading players out for third round picks.

  13. Bryan Little, Pavel Datsyuk, Marian Hossa, Chris Pronger, Jacob Voraceck, Shea Weber. Man that would be a damn good team 13 years ago, all they need is to get Kesler, Bishop, and Seabrook and there set, shame they never picked up that Marian Gaborik contract because that'd he another 30 goal scorer to add to an already stacked team.

  14. You guys need to get the facts straight about the Coyotes before opening your mouth. What looks bad are the 2 of you who have no clue.

    1) The arena deal has $0.00 taxes to the residents of Tempe
    2) You are crying about the Coyotes when Chicago is doing the same when now their best player is who?!?
    3) Bill Armstrong spoke in reference to the no cash back part with Jeff Marak (do some homework)
    4) You just hate the Coyotes because we are 4-0 against the 1st round and out Toronto Maple Leafs

I don't do this for a living and I came with more facts than you did.

  15. They're not the worst performing team in the NHL and they've never had 1st overall pick, I'm not sure what's the issue here. They're also in a particular situation where number of tickets is limited for I think another 2 years, so what's the point of being the best team right now. They'll probably be a powerhouse in 3-4 years.

  16. Tkachuk Brothers and Tage Thompson are from Arizona. They still have better careers than your Maple Leafs.

  17. The real reason why these people hate the Coytoes so much is because the Yotes constantly own the Maple Leafs' ass. I mean in the last 20 years the "joke of a franchise" Yotes are 18-5-2 against the "Uber Leafs". That coupled with the fact the Yotes have actually won multiple playoff rounds in that time frame, of course you're going to shit talk them lol.

  18. They are so uninformed its infuriating. Mureulo spent to the cap in 2020 and they went to the playoffs. They’ve only been rebuilding for two years. Also theyre at a 4600 person arena know it makes sense what theyre doing financially. Also the new arena does not affect az tax payers its all privately financed

  19. Yeah some expert on all of this? C'mon enough with the women already. Holy cow

  20. Go watch the Coyotes play a home game against the Leafs/Boston/most other elite teams. The players and coaching staff have a ton of heart, and they've pulled off some insane upsets this year. They don't have a lot of money and sure, maybe they are taking advantage of the cap. But the point of what they're trying to do is to be a competitive franchise in 2-3 years with the resources to be relevant for many seasons. I don't think we should be picking on the small guys like the Yotes. They're dealing with enough shit as it is. As far as I'm concerned, the rebuild looks to be on track. I'm excited for the future of this team

  21. Talking Heads. Chicago didn’t Tank? Why wouldn’t Armstrong take advantage of all the options to rebuild? Chychrun wanted to leave. What choice do you have? Silly. Not everyone has the money that TO and NY has to throw around. Armstrong has made good trades and the team has been fun to watch. Actually beat your Leafs, the Bruins, the Islanders etc. if they can get a good player(s) in the draft and keep the core they will be having the Leafs for Lunch in a few years. We can be patient and wait to hear your rant then what’s our record against Toronto the last two years? Check it out and share with your listeners 😂

  22. AZ has their fair share of problems and should be called out for some things, but the people on this show are either uneducated on the situation or are blatantly lying to the audience. The new arena is NOT being paid for by the public, it’s privately funded by the owner of the team, which is why they’re penny pinching on the roster, if this passes the coyotes will have maybe the best arena and surrounding facilities in the entire NHL, all while stockpiling picks which can be used on draft picks and down the road used to trade for players to speed up the rebuild…. They’re not breaking any rules according to the league and in 3-5 years I’d imagine they will be a competitive team like the wings or the senators (who also have a shit arena situation but never get the flak AZ does)

  23. Move the team to Houston or Quebec already.Gary Bettman is embarrassing the league by keeping the Coyotes in Arizona by any means necessary.

  24. I’m starting to get sick and tired of them. I love Scottsdale, love the Phoenix market but it’s just not working. Why waste time and money there when the other markets would love a NHL team? Like Quebec City comes first to mind but if they don’t want to do that and want to stay out west than look into Salt Lake City, Kansas City, and Milwaukee. I think Milwaukee makes sense because hockey is popular up there.

  25. It will be great if Connor Bedard is a Coyote.

He will drag the team to success.

Also how do you figure he isn’t willing to spend money? He’s going to spend money but he’s gonna let his GM do the work and we’ll see from there.

Hard to erase the stigma of Strome and Hayden and everybody else they haven’t developed under their other GM.

    Give them time

  26. As long as they aren't getting 1st overall picks every year still tanking, not giving players shots.
If get top 6 picks every year, actually is a good spot if a player needs remind NHL how good they are or raise value.

  27. The Coyotes are in a unique situation and this is all apart of climbing out of it. Chill the F out because you don't know what you're talking about.

  28. lmao Gary wont be upset if bedard goes to Arizona. Also Airzona ha been tanking well before the 2023 draft. saying they are only tanking this year cause its bedard makes no sense

  29. All of the yotes hate and we still have more playoff round wins than the leafs since 2010 😂 insane. the boys have heart. Matthews wants to come home

  30. These kind of bums are the reason why misinformation is spread. This arena will be privately funded. You two just don’t understand AZ.

  31. A failing franchise who is financially dependent on the backs of the other franchises in the league, is being put in it's place by franchises paying the bills. If you're going to take the cash you're going to take the trash. Pretty simple!

  32. You guys are gonna need to build a bridge and get over it – this is a business. Owners wanna make $$$. Full stop.
If you want to feel bad for anyone, Bedard is going to be severely limited from a financial point of view in Arizona.
