  1. Coach Don Granato worked with Jordan in the US junior hockey programs and felt he can work with him from the past experience.
Not just a stab in the dark, if you will.

  2. Sabres don't need him to score. They need him to make teams think twice about taking liberties on their young stars. Dahlin takes 2-3 cheap shots per game and is currently out of the lineup during their first playoff push in over a decade. Granado will get the most out of him… By most, I don't mean points. A trade that makes sense for both teams.

  3. The Big Rig was a Big Dud this season. He is chicken to really lay into checks and getting physical after his injury. Some guys just don't have it in them to get past that first big injury, and he may well be one who cannot. His efforts were not heart driven, rather trying to bide enough time to allow the Wild to deal him. I think he was really lacking in the heart and competitive departments. I wish him luck moving forward. So far Sundqvist has been a positive. There has been much better opportunities even in the short time he's been able to get on ice with Foligno and Gaudreau. They got 2 of Wild's 4 goals last nite!
