Fuck it, I’ll just enjoy these games with only a month to go in the season

  2. zeromadcowz

Fun game to watch. Really dislike this Sens team, take a lot of shit penalties and yell at everyone but themselves. Also, Captain potato is such a chuckle fuck… I’d abhor ever having to face him in the playoffs.

  3. NotoriousBananaHavoc

I’m really impressed with Joshua and Dries season would have never guessed they would break career totals. Also Kuz is easily going to be the next Canucks to hit 50 goals it’s bananas what he is doing in his first year in the NHL.

  4. Well we’re fucking finishing 9th in the west

  5. ConfuzedSkunk

Don’t think Ottawa is gonna make the playoffs playing like that, yikes

  6. LordHarkon1

Annual fuck up the draft spot last minute run lmao

  7. MaxHardwood

Lets manifest 10th overall into a superstar player.

  8. Giraffe-kit

I hate to say it, but we gotta abandon “I’m still standing”. As much as I love it, it just doesn’t feel right anymore.

  9. Ruilin96

This is the pay back game from the stupid Gaudette shootout goal game from last year that dented our playoff chances.

  10. MutuallyAssuredDeath

Can we please, PLEASE, for all that is fucking holy, play like this in the BEGINNING of the season?!

  11. nickypoopoo69

First game I got to watch with my dad all year, and it was a fun game to watch.

  12. jackfrench9

Damn this team has looked different under Tocchet. I’m coming around.

  13. julesieee

I absolutely NEED a GIF of Myers flicking away Tkachuck like some pesky insect

  14. monkey314

Don’t worry everyone, they’re just fucking around and finding out is all

  15. joeyandkuma

I really like how Juulsen has been playing since called up Great skating, taking the body playing hard minutesi hope he gets extended and makes the big team next year out of training camp too

If we get rid of OEL and Myers this D might improve quite a bit even with the guys we have.

  16. All 4 games we won- no OEL.

He’s an actual pylon. Thanks for nothing Jet Black.

E: All 4 callups have looked better than OEL. Was it Juulsen that was keeping up with Tkachunk’s spinning?

  17. WasabiChimChim

Damn when Demko shook his left leg after saving that open net shot, my heart sunk down to my stomach

  18. SkidmarkDave

Joshua is a beast. Great find by Cull and Ryan Johnson. Extend him!

  19. randomj77

Ottawa fucking choked big time. We were fine tonight but not like amazing and considering they had so much riding on this game they played like ass

  20. LordHarkon1

Well petey is a ppg player now which is cool

  21. Fun game. Really hated that line change that led to the first goal but overall Miller and the fourth line dominated. There was a bit too many penalties but all the ones called at the end were deserved. I personally don’t think Boeser/Miller/DGP have chemistry and any points they got were with other players but it doesn’t look like RT will bring Garland back into top 6 with how well the fourth line is performing. Demko deserved the shutout. 🙁

  22. cram9800

If you consider Kuz as somewhat of a replacement for Horvat in terms of goal scoring and point production, in the overall scheme we basically got Raty, Beauvillier, Hronek without even trading a top 6 forward. He isn’t a solid 2C like Horvat, but he’ll probably finish with more goals than Horvat this year.

  23. 1DVSBSTRD5

Man I can’t wait till we’re good. Bieksa would talk the absolute best shit during post game shows. The man’s earned it

  24. yeliab_tx_ca

Look I know we want losses, but man this feels different – more like a full culture reset under Toc. We’re playing a lot heavier, more gritty than the last few years and seems like the guys are really buying in. Last year, don’t forget the Bruce mirage was driven by great Demko goaltending night in and out, we were still getting outshot/chanced almost every game. The biggest difference this time around has seemed like the lack of shots against and ~structure~.

But again, you don’t rebuild when you have a top 10 center, D man and goalie on the same roster. Cautiously optimistic for next year.

Lastly, tired of Drance and his constant doom and gloom. Just wait and see where this goes buddy. Just my thoughts

  25. Prudent-Drop164

Why are we only playing kravstov and podkolzin 8 minutes.

  26. Hughes playing 28 minutes… anyone have any thoughts on that?

  27. isle_say

I’m old enough to remember when the Canucks started the season strong then faded after the all star break.

  28. sir_roxalot

I picked up Sogaard in my fantasy playoffs tonight so I can’t help but feel responsible for this W

  29. ZackyGood

I’m happy we got Kravstov. But he needs to be sent down to Abby. He needs his confidence back. Just seems like he is under too much pressure.

  30. Striking_Ad_4562

Only 16 points behind the Jets and we have 1 game in-hand.

17 games left. If we can win out we could hit 95 points!

The most improbable comeback coming to fruition.

  31. ididntwantsalmon19

This narrative that we are only playing good because there is no pressure is annoying. They are playing good because they have team structure and goalies that aren’t performing at a historically terrible level.

  32. Talax604

Pre-training camp is going well. They’ve showcased almost everything they have to showcase, now they just gotta fill the cupboards with the stuff they’re using.

This season’s training camp was such a shit show of trying to figure out the abby players and what was happening.

  33. Refs realized that putting nux on PK wasn’t working anymore so they threw 6 PPs at us instead.

  34. Sinochick

I hope the Canucks will re-sign Burroughs. Mad respect to him for being the 7th defenseman for much of the season and doing it with a great attitude. And for stepping up to fight Watson tonight to protect Petey.

  35. yepireckon

You can shove your tank up your ass, it’s cup or bust now

  36. YourUncle13

Holy shit Ottawa gives the puck away pretty often

  37. Wittgenscottsteiner

This is the first game I’ve seen Hughes without a point in awhile.

  38. IUseRedditToComplain

stop winning you fucks. cant do anything right.

  39. shadownet97

Remember when the Canucks had a consistent pattern of: strong October, November injury curse, comeback December, injury January and February, and late March-April push only to miss the playoffs?

Sigh. Can’t even rely on that to blame for the team’s woes anymore.

  40. Hey our PP isn’t producing, ok so we’ll produce on the PK

  41. PMMeYourCouplets

Galaxy brain: Who cares about where we draft if we never lose.

  42. swanguard

This was a Roxy flu game.

    As was the Leafs game.

Ottawa played in Seattle 2 nights before then had a full day off in Vancouver at the end of a road trip.

Mild weather (compared to here in Ottawa) and a Friday night off? The playoff push can wait.

Nothing much the Canucks could do about that.

Throw in backup goalies and it adds up to win.
