  1. Nice job giving George McPhee props in the beginning. It’s not said enough

  2. I am so confused 🙁 He was asked who were the toughest of all time and his answered with his top 3 fighters of all time. Two different things is it not ?

  3. I've said it before and I'll come back to echo it a thousand times, Hey Burkie is probably my favorite youtube short on Sportsnet!

  4. Before my time but young Probert was a beaut. Spent some time on the first line, had a 29 goal season!! Would play 30 minutes and fight every night. Obviously it took its toll RIP

  5. I asked Clark who the toughest guy was and he said George Laraque because other guys could beat you but George could really hurt you.

  6. I know he wasn't classed as a fighter, but Theo Fleury was a pretty scrappy dude. Shame he had to go through what he did.

  7. Never saw Proby but as a hockey fan he's a legend in fighting and I've seen enough highlights to give him the No.1 spot IMO

  8. The Motor City Mechanics! Man… they played in the city I grew up in so actually got to go to quite a few games.

  9. I love watching these vids, somehow it makes you feel like you are sitting between these guys while they are talking. Well done. But…. maybe I'm just an old Flyers fan, but I find it hard to believe that Dave "the hammer" Schultz didn't show up even on the list, but all the guy being "shown" losing were in Flyers sweaters?!?

  10. Tiger Williams does not belong there….punching bag, so what he is the all-time PIM leader, he is 3rd all-time in the number of fighting majors and most of those were boring hugfests. Chris Nilan deserves mention as one of the top fighters of all time. Lost fewer fights than Probert, had over 300 fights in his career and won most of them. Nilan was 3-1-1 in his fights vs Dave Brown. Tie Domi is actually the all-time leader in PIM from fighting majors.

  11. The fighter is a position that's pretty much gone now.. I remember growing up in the 70's, and every team had to have one… Tiger williams was certainly someone you didn't want to tangle with… Dave Schultz was another… every team had one… some more known than others… by the time the 90's came around, that guy had to be able to play well too… Guys like Rob Ray… you were the fighter, but when you weren't fighting.. you had to score enough or play well enough to stick around too.. unlike the 70's and before where they would make a spot for you…

  12. In terms of fighting ability, Rick Rypien was, in my opinion the best fighter. He didn't have the size, but his dad was a professional boxer, so he was fun to watch take down all these bigger guys.

  13. What about Ogie Oglethorpe? Got deported from the US, and Canada refused to accept him!

  14. Gino Odjick and Tiger Williams are two of the toughest all-time? They don't even sniff the top 20. 1. Probert 2. Dave Brown. 3. Behn Wilson.

  15. Met Gino Odjick at Canada's Wonderland such a cool guy asked him about Pavel Bure lol

  16. My Uncle played on the Red Wings and I got to meet Probert a couple of times, once in Montreal when I got rolled at an arcade, Probert offered to find the kids who robbed me, and another time visited him at his condo over looking Lake Michigan, his cigarette boat was insane. I was in awe at his size, but he was super nice and signed my bruise brothers shirt, Probie is a legend.

  17. I'm real lucky to have grow up in Detroit I never met bob but I did meet Gordie Howe, Joe korcer and sir Stanley
