After 12 years of missing the playoffs, i would've liked to see a more concerted effort by KA to give this team a boost down the stretch so we could get in. The learning potential of the experience our youth would receive from being in the playoffs is immeasurable. I'm all for the long term plan but we have a bunch of assets & picks & cap space (the lowest of the league)… sure would've been nice to utilize some of that to make the playoffs.. But hey like we say every year: there's always next year
The upper brass in Buffalo truly seem like a nice bunch. That trickle down can be seen in the way the club plays. A little help on the defensive side and some improved goaltending and the Sabres will be golden!
