This is just ONE example why 3 on 3 OT should just be continuous. Non stop action and it wouldn't be like the old OT format where 1 or 2 games per season go for like 3 or 4 overtimes. I'm willing to bet my house there wouldn't be any more than 2 games per season that go past 20 minutes of 3 on 3.
So happy for Montour as a D Man what a season for him. I really thought one of the three stars of the game should have rightfully gone to Bobrovsky…he saved this game on his own several times.
Goalie was daydreaming on that play. There is no reason he shouldn’t have had his stick on the ice ready for a quick shot. I don’t understand why these goalies play so nonchalant these days🤦♂️.
