If the Isles can't come back from this trip with 6 points, their season is over. What a performance by the Caps. They sold half their defense, got a bunch of assets and still shut the Isles down.
I would scratch or send Holmstrom down. He's been pretty invisible.

Defense can win the isles a lot of games. Just not enough games. 2.7 gpg wont cut it. Send holmstrom down for good.
If they called up IShkakov they’d have more offense but Lou’s is demented.
Tereble no show up against Washington 4 points on the line playing home with 18 shots and 5 power play….wow…….this west coast trip is crucial we need at least 4 point no les than that. What’s up with Dobsons regression in his own end? It’s terribly noticeable! Is it Lamberts system? Him being young and it takes defenseman a little longer to mature? Both? All I know is I hope it’s not a look into how he’s going to be as a defenseman.
