  1. Gonna miss Jake, I think the Jackets would of kept him if his career wasn’t likely over. Unfortunate situation.

  2. Lol and Coyote fans think Austin Mathews wont resign in Toronto and sign in Arizona to play in a college arena that holds 5000 fans and for a team thats used by the rest of the league as a contract dumpster. Keep dreaming Coyote fans and just to rub more salt in your wound, the leafs have the top prospect from AZ in Knies currently playing for the U of Minnesota.

  3. JUST RELOCATE THEM. I hate the idea of relocating at first, but this is way worse than the Thrashers. At least they had an arena to play in. So did the Nordiques. Both of those teams are now cup contenders. Arizona is a joke (sorry Arizona fans), and needs to be fixed

  4. Arizona sucks and they know they suck and the plan was for them to suck. They aren't rushing it. Its embarrassing but at least they have a plan.
As much of a laughing stock as they are, want to bet they win a cup before the Cancucks do? At least the Coyotes are trying to suck and get draft picks. What the hell are the Canucks doing except actively being mid?

  5. There is still a small part of me thinking he will return next season. But still poor Jakub he had a concussion and then he is traded to Arizona off all teams. If he retires from NHL I hope he will return to Czech Extraliga. And maybe just maybe will play at World Championship next year in his home country cause last time he wore the national team jersey in 2019 he was awesome a true captain.

  6. Can you explain how this benefits ARZ with this dead money? I am not fluent in the language of salary cap roster.

  7. So they trade Chykrun to a Team that didn’t need AZ to retain salary but take players who will never play? Explain that?

  8. I wouldn’t be surprised if a team using Arizona LTIR space has to pay a behind the scene non-hockey related service fee, that is the purpose of the Coyotes. It’s a sweet deal for the players too they don’t have to relocate unless they choose to.

  9. When Cooley comes in. Plus a Top 3 in this draft, on a line with Keller. Team still has alot of potential next year. Just the defense is a concern now for next year.

  10. its smart just because by the time there good prospect are nhl ready theyll get picks and stuff to take them in and it doesent do anything for em

  11. I think if the Coyotes keep making moves like this, they never 'turn the corner'. It's a VERY loser mentality.

  12. Slow it down Gio, the Coyotes are doing a super rebuild. They are going to have so many draft picks by the time they get their new arena they will be skating with a ton of draft capital to go with their large capacity arena. They just can't afford to ice a full cap team with only a handful of seats in their arena now. I think they get half the draft picks in a couple of years, lol.

  13. AZ will continue to stay at the bottom of the league. The franchise would be better off with uncle Rico running it.
