Before any of u doomers go crazy, Tampa lost to Winnipeg last night after allowing 3 unanswered, sure, it’d have been better to win tonight, but it is what it is, on to the next one.
Refs owed us big time and still didn’t give us shit. Still gave the Sabres their powerplays though.

Leafs off to dominant start, take an entire period off, lose. I’ve seen this before many times. I know better than to think they’ll learn from this.
This is a great team and I’m hopeful for the playoffs, but they have some motivation issues that I’m not sure they will ever solve.

I may be in the minority but I hate 11 and 7. The team hasnt had a single full game that looks good with 11 and 7. The lines end up a mess, the defence partners are all over the place. It just isnt clicking and Id be cool if they gave up on it.

Well deserved loss. Completely asleep after the 2nd goal. And started floating until they were down 4-2.

Murray’s season .905 save percentage doesn’t instill me with a lot of confidence for the playoffs.

with 7D, you got rielly getting caved in with certain guys, guys playing their off sides. You got role players playing with the core 4 who feel they HAVE to get them the puck the second they get the puck.

Serious what would it take for this team to just show up and completely dominate a bad team for once? its always the same fucking story with the non playoff teams (yea i get Buffalo is fighting for a spot, but as it currently stands, their not in a spot)
like its the same script, they’ll show up next game and put up a good showing, maybe even win the thing, same thing Friday, and then get absolutely clowned on by Ottawa on Saturday, like the script is getting fucking old

The O’Reilly trade was perfect but he did a little too much trading Sandin out and switching up so much of the D core
JT muffed a couple of those key face offs in the last couple mins, lost us possession taking the net off, Moe let a few slip by on the the blue line in the last couple mins, frustrating. Pissed the game away after the 30 min mark.
11F and 7D does not work for this team, and i will die on that hill. Keefe needs to spend the last part of the season building chemistry within the lineup for the playoffs and not playing fucking musical chairs with the defensemen. This team’s defensive breakdowns are really concerning heading into the playoffs and Matt Murray is just not that guy anymore.
Reilly is not the man to have on the point this year if you really need the puck to stay in. I think McDavid emptied him with that highlight undressing. That’s all it takes sometimes.
Keefe is doing a wonderful job
Another 4 goal game for Murray but I don’t think he can be blamed for this one. Outshot 16-3 in the second and then poor defensive zone play in the third.
Team is just experimenting with 11-7 I hope because I’ve yet to seen a game where it’s used where I thought to myself the additional defenseman was of any use. Nothing against Gustafsson but he really wasn’t needed on this team given his set of skills.
Keefe suuuucks enough of this 11-7 bullshit. If he’s actually thinking of trying this in the playoffs fucking RIP.
